I got on the videos a couple of weeks ago as suggested by Lizzie.I have now moved from 4500 points to 6300 points.Looking towards 8400 for a £30 Amazon voucher.

Wow....great stuff, John...an amazing leap! I have never saved up for a £30 Amazon voucher, as I chicken out at 4280 and go for a £15 HMV e-voucher instead....it is smaller, but I always worry about these sites going belly-up in the economic climate and my points suddenly becoming non-existent!!

Ive had all sorts over the years. Books, memory cards, a slow cooker and lots of vouchers. If you go for cinema vouchers ,they have expiry dates so don't order too far in advance.

I used to always get books or DVDs from them, mrsfibble, but they stopped using Amazon for these, as you used to be able to search for the book/DVD you wanted, and now you are stuck with their choices which are all mainstream modern rubbish....I prefer the golden oldies (showing my age here I think!!!)

I miss getting books from Amazon too and as delivery was included the exchange rate of points was very similar to the list price unlike some of the gift type items which can be picked up cheaper on the high street

Lizzie-fully appreciate your views on changes etc to sites due to the economy,very similar to the retail trade.Why Maximiles can not give a £15 Amazon voucher for 4280 is strange.i'm going to risk it and see if I can get to 8400,but if sucessful will opt out in future for the HMV.Have to go for DVDs instead of books.

I understand, John, and it is nice to be appreciated, for whatever reason!

However, be warned...I did ask the question as to why they had changed the £10 HMV voucher to a £15 HMV voucher only and they said it was what their customers wanted...however, I was not convinced that was a good reason.....you may get fobbed with similar flannel!

Oh, and what's wrong with books???? I love my books..... see dialogue on Dickens.....

I would rather have books and personally would rather get a £10 voucher as per alued Opinions.Always best to get a small redemtion pay out and get the money/voucher as soon as possible is my motto.

Did you know you can get 1p books at Amazon? I always do....trouble is, there is £2.80 postage....but a book for £2.81 is fabulous! You can buy tons with Amazon, that is true....and audio books are great too.

I agree, John, asap is good....I think it is safer, you are right.
