We have often mentioned on here that it seems the surveys suddenly slow down when we are nearing redemption, well, I just received a newsletter from Springboard and this is what it said....

Do you reduce the number of surveys I receive when I am close to redeeming 25 Survey Cash for cash or charity?

We can assure you that we do not reduce the number of surveys to a member who is nearing the 25 Survey Cash level. The balance in your account has no impact on how many surveys you will receive. Whether you're a new member or are nearing the 25 Survey Cash redemption mark, we send you invitations regardless! The number of surveys you receive depends on the requirements and type of research we are conducting, how these fit with what we know about you, as well as an element of random selection, ensuring that our research accurately represents the make-up of the UK population. We do our best to invite everyone to as many surveys as we can!

What do you think?

Total bunkum I say.I'm in the same situation with SurveyHead.Get the surveys but always screened out other than 1 for 32p for 25 minutes.I assume no one thought it worthwhile for 32p.

I'm not sure I believe 'em, Lizzie.

John, I agree with you about Surveyhead - and I put Focusline, That's-what-i-think, and Gratis Points (oh don't get me started on Gratis Points...!) in with the same lot too. Today, I took a survey for Gratis Points, got the whole way through, and validated at the end, only to be told that I "did not qualify" - what a cheek!

Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things!

I was just putting out feelers....I have to remain open on this one, because genuinely I have had both types of experiences from panels, i.e. things have gone quite just prior to redemption and things have heated up at the same time....with different panels, of course....so I really can't say....

However, being honest, would a panel say "when you get 25p away from redemption we put up a big red banner saying "do not invite this email address to any surveys for another 6 months" !!!!!!!!!!! I mean, is it likely they would actually come out and SAY that in a newsletter??? Not bloomin' likely!! ;) so pinches of salt need to be taken with the above....:)

However, as I always say, if you log in regularly and update your profiles and remind them you exist then you have a better chance of remaining on their radar and getting invited....how about trying this for an experiment in the New Year....

Wait until you are nearing redemption with a panel....say, a week without any surveys from them, and 50p away from redemption, just as a rough guide....then log in, update your profile, and WAIT AND SEE THE LENGTH OF TIME IT TAKES THAT PANEL TO INVITE YOU AFTER YOU HAVE UPDATED YOUR PROFILE......I would be very curious to know if it really does make a difference. What do you think? Anyone game to try it?

:)

They don't have to send out a newsletter but incorporate the block in their software-not rocket science I'm afraid.
