By: tina c Date: 07 Jan 2012 7:54 PM I have to praise British Gas for their excellent service yesterday. I pay for my gas with a pre-payment card. when trying to top up my meter, the card was not working. on their advice i went out and got another card but this was also not accepted. I phoned them and they arranged to come out the next morning, but advised me that if there were any more problems that i should phone back. An hour later the heating packed up because the gas had run out. I phend them and told them and they said that they would send someone out. Within an hour I had a phone call from the engineer to say that he was on his way. Within two hours, the engineer had been and fixed the meter and the heating was up and running again. In my opinion this was the best service anyone could wish for. well done british gas ! |

crusty About me: I am 62, retired and have never married. I live in a little cottage in the Yorkshire Dales with my presant cat Sarah. Why I like surveys: Apart from my relatives considering me to be an opinionated old whatsit, they give something to do and the cash helps with the cat treats. By: crustyDate: 08 Jan 2012 8:41 AM Lucky you to have gas as its unavailabe to where I live and I have to have oil
LizzieAnn About me: I love surveys! You can't tell from reading any of my posts, though, can you?! I am a full time worker with two children and a full time house husband, are you jealous? Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things! By: LizzieAnnDate: 08 Jan 2012 4:28 PM Nice to give praise where praise is due, Tina, and yes, they do sound marvellous. It is great to know in this day and age there is a company you can rely on for great customer service and good all-round service. Well done British Gas.
Terry About me: Shortly being put out to grass and looking for a nice field and some fresh hay. I also like the occasional oats. Why I like surveys: Everyone likes a good moan about work, banks, supermarkets, utility companies, politics, religion, benefit scroungers,Tony Blair, the EU,taxes, climate change, immigration, inflation, deflation, the weather, woman, the boss, fat cats, the NHS,house prices, tree huggers, the council, pensions, and Cain Dingle. By: TerryDate: 15 Jan 2012 10:22 PM Is this the same British Gas who put their prices up 18% this year and when the price of wholesale gas came down they have only given 5% back?
