I have to praise this company, got my cheque this morning and it was for £31.64? I thought it was £20.00 for 1000 points, obviously they work on the american redemption of $50.00 which is about right, nice surprise and i received it within the 4-6 week time frame they stated! Well done to them. ( i redeemed around the 9/10th December last year)

It is a nice amount worth waiting for isn't it Ruth, funny you should get yours the same time! What a coincidence.

I think we must have either redeemed at the same time or they run cheques off at the same time......

Keep with them serena - about 3 months ago I had a community invite from them, it lasted a week and they gave me 1500 points.....

How to work it out, Serena....5 cents for every point, therefore you multiply 5 cents by however many points you redeem then do a conversion on one of the conversion charts online...and that should tell you how many pounds and pence you will get!! It is a really good rate of exchange just now, I am at 915 points so I am hoping to redeem soon too....and it is almost always 5 weeks to the day I get my cheque! :)

Oddly enough, after your very first redemption, you get points build up really quickly!! It never takes long....but, did you know that in the good old days, you used to get 100 points per survey?? Think how fast your redemption was then!! :( pity it changed, really, isn't it?

I too redeemed my points towards the end of last year and expected around £15. Very surprised when a cheque arrived in November for just over £31, very nice.

I will give you a simple formula for roughly working out how much you get - 5 cents per 1 Market Point so you multiply your market points by 0.05 to get the dollar and cents value of your redemption....I redeemed 1025 points which equals 51.25 or 51 dollars and 25 cents...then you use a simple conversion table you can find here....
http://www.xe.com/ucc/ to work out how much the USD converts to in GBP so I should get roughly £32.92 - but always bear in mind that the redemption takes about 5 weeks and they use the conversion rate on the day they do the cheque so it can vary a little. :)

oops, sorry, I am repeating myself a little....already mentioned how to do this....I just found a great conversion site (above) however so thought I would add that to the posting! :)

I love Global Test Market! And it seems that they (sort of) tailor the surveys to you, for example, I seem to get a lot of business-type surveys. GTM seems to really suit me.
