They said i was sent it as i said i would like follow up info in the future from other survey companies.

arhhhhhh got 80% through and it crashed.As its 4pm my broadband slowed so I have to try again tonight. The air in my room is blue and am getting funny looks from the cat as I keep shouting and swearing at the computer!!!

My understanding of it....and I did it really quickly whilst my children took over in the kitchen to make dinner and I was trying to hurry up to avoid any major disasters that I might have to eat!!!....is that the prize draw was the incentive to fill in the survey to join the Unilever panel.....which I completed....then there was a further more detailed part about what you bought, etc., and then at the end of it I was asked if I would ALSO like to join the Unilever community with lots of fun things, and chose a password and username...now to my mind, these are two separate and distinctly different things, although related and run by the same people.

It said the Unilever panel required you to give your phone number, which I did, in case they had to contact me for any different kinds of surveys they might want me to take part in (I do not normally do this but I think one of the options was to take part in telephone surveys and for this I always make an exception to giving out my number) and that things might be quiet for awhile but they would contact me if and when a relevant survey came up they thought I would be interested in. Well and good.

Then, there was the second part which seemed to consist of going into much more detail about the types of products you buy, the types of places you shop, etc., and then at the very end of this there was the specific invitation to join the Unilever community run by a favourite company of mine JOIN THE DOTS!! the people with whom I won the £100 Amazon voucher just before Christmas - oh joy!!

Now this community will be similar to Prudential Community (Promise), Standard Life Community, or Upfordiscussion community...that sort of idea....and will have loads of really great opportunities for competitions, prize draws, post of the month, etc., and is really worth being a part of. I am a huge fan of Join the Dots, not least because I have won so much with them, but also they have a very innovative outlook to surveys and discussion groups and are very modern and forward thinking....to my mind, that is not always a good thing, modernity, but in this case, it is brilliant!!

as for confirmation, Serena, you will not get that at all, I do not think, until you actually have a survey to take. I think!! And let's hope one of us wins the prize draw.....can anyone remember how many £50 prizes they were giving away? I think there might have been three, but maybe it was only one.

Oh brill Lizzie, thanks for the onfo, yes i remember all that too, i am so glad that it could be good, but it sounds brill what you are saying about the join the dots, hope i have a good time, and everyone else with this, i am so glad. x and yes i think it was 3 from my email. (prize draws)
