Yes, I noticed that when I am doing a survey and there is a free text box, I type in loads then it reverts back to the start of the survey...maybe they think I am overreaching myself??? :(

I have emailed them several times and they keep telling me that they are looking in to it but i'm still waiting to be paid. I've been reading their Facebook page and it seems that most people have been paid quite quickly by them (well within the 28 days that they state is the norm). Even people who redeemed much later than myself have been paid already so i'm not sure what's going on...

Natasha, I have just been to the site and done a bit of homework....their registered office is noted there...how about giving them a phone on 01179 066 555 and just have all your details to hand, like your full name, username, and method of redemption and date of redemption....you never know...I got a great result from phoning Rewarded Opinions when I had a problem....it is worth a try! :)

Same thing here, if i don't complete the survey all at once and leave it 5 mins, not even that it does straight to the start of the survey!

I managed to complete a few today with no problems, however, even a 20p long assessing adverts one which was quite fun. I only have £7.45 in my account but I suppose I will get there eventually....I have done before....out of interest, how often do you actually log in and complete surveys and on average, how long does it take you to reach redemption with them?

I'm in the early £30s with OnePoll. I'm a little nervous about them. I'd not be surprised at all if 2012 is the year of the big survey company shakeout. There are so many of them, competing for the same business, in difficult conditions, and let's face it, OnePoll's survey subjects seem rather superficial at the best of times, barely scientific frivolities for sidebar stories in redtop newspapers.

There seem to be a lot of people who wait beyond 28 days to receive their redemptions, particularly those who choose Paypal over BACS.

Also, there was that strange OnePoll facebook page business over Christmas in which several members reported receiving an email from Sian Clancy stating that the company was in financial difficulties and it was uncertain when or whether anyone would be paid. Then there were rumours that the company would shut down at the end of the year, with a quoted but ungrammatical email. Shortly after that, firm denials were issued, including denials that those emails were ever sent. Ms Clancy is still employed by them, so it seems she was indeed not responsible for any indiscreet information leaks. And the surveys are still coming... even if they tend to give error messages depressingly often.

There seems to be a general perception that surveys dry up almost completely once you top £39, though since many people have redeemed successfully, this may just be a misperception caused by impatience. I've been keeping track, just to see.

Last year, I averaged 40p per day. Since surveys are almost never posted at the weekend, that's really an average of about 56p per weekday. In 2012, this has dropped to 25p per day (or 35p per weekday). Earning a full £40 would take between 5 and 6 months. At this rate, if there is no slow-down at the end, I should be able to claim in the third week of February. Let's see.

Very interesting info Botec, none of which I was aware of, not being a Facebook member, but it gives you pause for thought doesn't it??

I understood that Paypal was always paid out quicker than BACS and in my case it always has been and I have never had any late payments from them but then it was some time ago I cashed out with them.

I do know they are run by 72Point Limited who have been going for a very long time and were very efficient and I do also know their surveys are oft-quoted in both the press and on radio and so the quickies they run are the perfect format for some smart-alec DJ to fire off on air and sound impressive to youngsters, iyswim!!

I would be doubtful about the £39 thing, too, that is a common myth that things slow down then...it is not always the case, in fact very rarely, so how could they if people all reach near-redemption at different times...and in view of the fact that also OnePoll Cashback and OnePoll+ have started up recently, I would tend to think that the company is rather trying to diversify to keep themselves afloat in challenging economic times instead of maybe what others might think, spreading themselves too thinly. It is challenging economically for all survey companies and here is my take on that.....

I feel that in order to capture the market in certain areas, companies are more likely to target people who will buy their products, therefore it is good money well spent to commission a survey to find out EXACTLY which target audience to go for....then go for it big-time!!

I also feel that you will see the weeding out of lots of companies who have no professional ethics, and are out to turn a quick buck in 2012...but the strong sturdy ones with sound ethics and good panellists who are trustworthy and reliable will go from strength to strength....see Hot Topics for the amount of panels who are actually starting to revamp themselves and change their ideas about who and what they stand for and want to achieve, today alone I had a few emails on the subject! I will await developments in 2012 with interest.

Thanks for participating Botec, and getting my creative juices flowing....you are a stimulating person to have around! :) :)

I have just received an email from OnePoll confirming that my BACS payment has finally been processed so it should be in my bank account in a few days :)

Great news, Natasha...glad it is finally happening and in January too! couldn't come at a better time really, for you, could it?

I agree, Serena...do you know enthusiasm is the most incredible thing and the most valuable to maintain whilst doing surveys.....if you lose that, you really should give up altogether....exciting is the word....let's keep everyone posted! :)

After three days accruing £0.65 each and £0.30 so far today, I've now topped the ominous £39. £0.95 to go. Will the surveys now dry up for me, or is this a misperception by those anxious to redeem? I've been averaging 30p/day since 2012 began, so let's see.
