Honest Rewards changes

I just received the following email from the Honest Rewards panel (they are a CINT one, crusty!) - (what do you all think then?)

Hi

A belated Happy New Year to you!

Please be aware that we are currently moving Honest Rewards across to a more advanced system. As such, earning opportunities are limited at the moment but we will be winning high volumes of quality surveys once this transfer has been completed.

Please bear with us, we expect this to be completed by mid February.

We will also be introducing our new refer a friend scheme which can earn you up to £5 per new member you recruit for us.

We wish you the best for 2012!

Kind Regards
The Honest Rewards Team

Why I like surveys: Apart from my relatives considering me to be an opinionated old whatsit, they give something to do and the cash helps with the cat treats.

I know using your list I joined a few days ago and got my first survey Today and a copy of this letter. If only I had known. However i did get your referal to Newvista and will be filling it in shortly.

About me: I love surveys! You can't tell from reading any of my posts, though, can you?! I am a full time worker with two children and a full time house husband, are you jealous?
Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things!

Never mind, eh? (as Bootsie used to say - good old Alfie Bass, remember him?!) but good news about Newvista, Crusty...they are really worthwhile joining up with and great surveys, too.

By the way, I did a referral for you for MyVoice but it looks like you are already a member, do you get much from them? They have quite a high redemption, £20 for 2000 points.

No, Bill Fraser...remember the Army Game? :)

435 is a good score...I have been stuck around the 600 mark for ages...do you receive email invitations from them OK? I haven't had one for ages, for some reason, so I log in regularly and complete the surveys from my home page.

Jilly101
About me: Married with 3 kids, live in North West and enjoy reading, cooking and watching various sports on TV
Why I like surveys: Mostly for the rewards but I like getting to review and test products and ideas before they hit the shops and I enjoy mini-polls where you get to see how others have voted.

I received e-mail from Honest Rewards and was glad had recently managed to complete a survey for £2.88 which took me over the redemption limit of £15.00 (second payout since I joined just over a year ago) - I like the fact that they give you a token 8p when you are screened out as even these add up!!

serena
About me: I am a housewife currently, and my husband and 2 adult sons work full time, so i look after the house and finances.
Why I like surveys: I enjoy giving my opinion and earning a little extra to help out with the shopping now and again and it keeps me occupied.

I just logged into these to check my balance and i am on £5.76, they say when i reach £30.00 i can cash out? Is it only for cash you have to wait this long then Jilly101?

lizzieAnn I see you seny me an invitation for Hiving. I use to belong to this but never got any surveys so I unsubscribed weeks ago. But it would seem they have something in common with Survey.com in that since having unsubscribed they now won't stop sending emails.
It looks like I won't be joining Newvista as their application form requires me to enter a mobile phone number and whist I will give out my landline number my mobile is for emergencies only and I never issue the number. What would they do if I didn't have a mobile number. i have tried omitting it but that doen't work.

That is very odd, Crusty, because I have never had a mobile in my life and I have been a member for years with Newvista. They are a really good site as many other panellists on here will tell you.

Sorry about Hiving, I didn't realize you didn't like them, don't worry, I will not refer you in future unless you ask me first, sorry, Crusty, I thought you wanted a few more referrals. :( I will go stand in the corner now. :( :(

I thought Honest Rewards was £15 redemption too - I just logged in and accidentally put in my username and password for Response Panel and got the information for them...they are a CINT company too...I have £3.52 with Honest Rewards and cash-out is £15 and £18.36 with Response Panel and cash-out is £30 - is that maybe what you did, Serena?

LizzieAnn have had another look at the registration invitation and filled it in again and pressed enter ( about ten times ) and just as I was just about to give up it suddenly accepted it. so you should be getting your referal points.I also do not mind you sending these invites. Thanks---so keep out of those drafty corners or you willl never get better.

Thanks, Crusty, tell me if you get bored with me and want to fling me aside like an old rag doll...LOL ;) other men have!! ;)

I am so glad it worked for you....it was good for me too...they are very fast with their referral points, and believe it or not my balance since redemption in November is now £31.50 so well on the way to my next redemption! Pity they would not change their redemption type though from cheques...it seems somewhat outmoded these days!
