Focus groups and forums

I have had a quick run through the ' Customer Service Champion' forum but without spending the next week reading them all is there an overview about what is invovled on forums and focus groups that crop up in survey sites. Then the uninitiated (like me) will have an idea of what is expected of us befor we make a complete ass of ourselves?

Why I like surveys: Apart from my relatives considering me to be an opinionated old whatsit,they give something to do and the cash helps with the cat treats.

Thanks for the email and no I haven't been invited to a forum I just wanted to know a bit about them as you and others often talk about them.It took ages to read the attachment as Office 2010 needed to down load some extra files as its not something I use very much It is also Friday and rush hour on the web starts early and my download speed is greatly reuced. You might have noticed that my times of writting on here can be at odd times in the early mornings.
I must log onto YSP about a dozen times a day/night as there is always something to read of interest.

Nice to know you care, crusty....good that we can keep your interest and that you enjoy the forums!

If you had asked, I could have copied and pasted the document into the email and would have saved you lots of trouble...I am sorry, you just have to ask!! I don't know much technically, but am always willing to learn and try something new! :)

As far as forums are concerned, really, there are lots of ways to get into them, but you do take pot luck as they are often hidden in amongst a perfectly innocent, ordinary looking survey invitation! :)
