I start my saying I like this site and have been with them for years.
I just got a survey for 50 points and had to screen myself out. A question asked when I had bought 17 items (month and day) and also how much each item cost in pounds and pence. Now my memory isn't that bad even for a dodering pensioner but can you remember how much each of 4 greetings cards cost who made them and exacly when you bought them that you bought a month ago plus that of 3 dvds plus 10 different books? Possibly given enough time I might have come up with a few costs but for 50 points NO WAY. ( surveyL34165)

I totally agree....I remember doing one some time ago and it asked about the last ten books I had bought and all the ISBN numbers on them!! That was a bit over the top even for me!! As you say, if they want you to do extras, they should offer extra incentives! :)

Oh yes, I did that or a similar ISBN survey. I had the books to hand, so that wasn't a problem. What was a problem was that the first question asked how many books I had bought, and I - more fool me - counted a box set of 8 books as, well, 8, but then entered a single ISBN for the set. The survey counted that as 1. So then I was stuck with another 'phantom' 7 books to answer questions about, with no way to say 'no, actually, that's all I bought; skip to the next section please.'
I ended up writing an exceedingly long rant about poor survey design in the following 7 sets of response boxes, until I had nearly lost the will to live.
As far as I know, I still received the points.

Yes, it was a poorly designed idea. I agree, Botec. :(
