Is there any chance we could have the more recent posts at the top and older ones at the bottom of each topic.
This would make more sense than how it is now, does anyone else agree?

I've asked for this a couple of times Deborah. The forums need a good shakeup. As they stand they are just a car crash!

Hi Deborah, as Terry says, not only have they asked for this to be done, but other members have also asked. I dont know what the logistics to be able to do this are, but without doubt it would make life easier.
Some time ago it was also asked to see if it was possible for any posting to go more than 2 weeks without a comment, to be automatically wiped off the forum.

I think its ok as it is . If you start with the original topic and then switch to the most recent coments you might read something completely different from the original topic. Where there are many replys to a topic the final replys may have nothing to do with he original topic.

About me: I love surveys! You can't tell from reading any of my posts, though, can you?! I am a full time worker with two children and a full time house husband, are you jealous?
Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things!

I remember awhile back you are right, George, we did ask, and I think we got a few answers, and the techy guys who look after the forums were saying they had loads of things they were going to do and not enough time to do them in. I am not sure how the forums are technically looked after, but there is some work done, as if you go back to individual sections, you can see that some of the older posts have been deleted....I think they sort of "drop off" when they are a certain age....

I know, remember, when we did the Advent Competition, Charlotte mentioned they were going to try to get an Advent Calendar with little doors set up in time for Christmas 2012....maybe it takes awhile to allocate enough time for technical things like this....we could check with Charlotte and Katie perhaps and see if something could be done, you and I, George, could ask and maybe we could get together a little list of these things from all the panellists, then they could be prioritised, so we would have sort of "worksheets" to give to the techy team....what do you think, George?

As customer service champions, we could "champion" the cause of the forum! :)

Absolutely, will keep everyone posted....as and when things happen, I am sure you will begin to see them happening on here before I do! As I go back to work on Monday I will not be quite such a regular poster, although what is not too regular for me is still fairly regular! :)

Hi x ... Well I have my colander on my head to protect me from things being thrown at me ;-)lol .... I must admit that I like it as it is .. when checking down for 29th I see things from 27th/28th etc and get side tracked reading them thinking ... ohhhh thats interesting dont remember reading that ... then I check on the 29th dates ... it keeps me up to date with everything being said and I love reading comments from you all ... if chucked to the bottom of latest dates I would miss so much and I find you all a treasure trove of information and that I thankyou everyone x

Nice to be appreciated, Siuzanah....glad you like it! We are not advocating total change, just a bit of sprucing up...we have to move with the times, don't we?! :)
