Mingle/Respondi

Having taken two surveys from Mingle today, I have reached the 2000 point mark for a £12 Amazon voucher. Redemption couldn't be quicker: I received the voucher via email in less than 30 seconds.

Well done Mingle!

Of course, the main reason I managed to reach redemption fairly quickly was due to my receiving 1500 points for a week long forum discussion just before Christmas.....Without that I think I would still be crawling towards cash-out! :-))

Thanks to Lizzie for referring me in the first place ;-)

Thats good news - I'm on 1666 (the sign of the devil - don't ask).
Tell you what I have noticed they don't inform you (via email) when there are surveys available.... I found the same two just by signing in.

Also, don't forget you get 150 points for referring like Lizzie, I managed to get most of my points this way....

Bit strange as I can redeem at 1000 points and get paypal

Sorry, Ros; perhaps I should've said that you can also cash out at 1000 points! However, they don't offer Paypal (according to their website anyway) but they do offer a BACS payment at 1000 points, the equivalent of £6. I opted to wait to get to 2000 points so I could get the £12 Amazon voucher - I'm forever buying books :-)

Ruth, hope you get the last few points soon :-) Good tip about signing in, but I did get the emails....I hope yours aren't going into your junk folder ;-)

Happy to help. It is good referral rates, and I have also got most of my points this way. I think I have nearly 1000 now, must check later on!! Great that they redeem so quickly, Katie, and thank you for letting us know...I too will go for the Amazon as I am always buying books too!! I think £6 is not a great return, and you are really better to wait but it is good to know how fast you can redeem...thanks again. :)

I agree, Lizzie. I can use Amazon for so many different things - although it is mostly books...in fact my house is bursting with them! :-)

I meant to ask what you were reading at the moment; I've just finished a Tale of Two Cities which is one of the most moving books I've read in a long time...the ending is sublime! I've just started reading a book by an an author called Jojo Meyes, and the book is called "The Last Letter from your Lover". It's not something I would have chosen for myself, but it was an Xmas gift, so I'll give it a go. So far, so good. :-)

Not much for this site, I brung it up awhile ago now about not been able to log in, I have emailed them several times and still no reply, it might end up in the delete bin for me, if it's anything like there customer service, i would give it a miss.

I stopped visiting there after that music sent me bonkers. You would think they would change it now and again.

Terence, I don't know what to suggest you do, as I assume you've gone through all the relevant channels already. Lizzie may have a suggestion; she's usually on the customer-services-ball with various survey sites. She will have some wisdom to impart, I'm sure ;-)

Terry, that music drives me bonkers too....I have to make sure my speakers are switched of 'off' before I bring up the Mingle page. It doesn't add anything to the site, really. :-(

Firstly as regards music....turn your sound down!! I never go online with sound working....I simply turn the sound up when I have to do so for a survey which has an advert in it!! Silly sausages - if you don't like the music, don't listen to it! Problem solved!

Secondly, having investigated, I discover that you need a minimum of 2000 points to redeem your points and you can only redeem when you reach this amount. You can redeem 2000 points right up to 10,000 for varying amount of BACS transfers and 2000 for £12 Amazon as Katie did. Oh, what Katie did......but that's another story, as they say...LOL.

I wonder if maybe some confusion has arisen because people have joined without changing the country....I know it sounds daft, but I had oodles of issues with Opinion Outpost because I accidentally joined the American instead of the British site....I am pretty on the ball with this usually, but I just didn't think....

And....discovered I now have the vast sum of 1103 points in my account so it will not be long before I am joining the redemption ranks along with you Katie!! :)

Tez, dunno what to suggest, as I have never used their customer services for anything but I am surprised to hear that they are not good because they seem to be a very professional lot.....however, maybe looks can be deceptive? How about trying to sign up from scratch again and see what happens....this may prompt them to get in touch to say you have already become a member and send your log-in details and then your problem would be sorted? Worth a try, don't you think? :)

Will give it a try, I can sign up again, As googlemail.com changed to gmail.com, which has been handy with all these recent problems with finding my accounts, But i am worried as to what as happend to my account and how many points i actually had, we will never know, But thank you, i will probably re-sign up.

Also i got an email today from them saying they can't find my account but i accidently gave the gmail.com email and not the googlemail.com so i corrected this and sent them an email back so hopefully they will get it now.

Good for you Tez...if they do resolve matters, perhaps you will suddenly notice all your lost points transferred to your new account?? It could happen....:)
