Why I like surveys: Giving my opinion, great rewards. By: Terence Raymond LewisDate: 09 Feb 2012 10:47 PM Badstuff, i swear the world think we work for ''nothing'' because every bit of money we think we have to ourselfs, we don't because they all want our money.
crusty About me: I am 62, retired and have never married. I live in a little cottage in the Yorkshire Dales with my presant cat Sarah. Why I like surveys: Apart from my relatives considering me to be an opinionated old whatsit, they give something to do and the cash helps with the cat treats. By: crustyDate: 09 Feb 2012 11:03 PM With the amount I get, I don't think that I'll be seeing the tax man. But with the amount you get Lizzie...........LOL
serena About me: I am a housewife currently, and my husband and 2 adult sons work full time, so i look after the house and finances. Why I like surveys: I enjoy giving my opinion and earning a little extra to help out with the shopping now and again and it keeps me occupied. By: serenaDate: 09 Feb 2012 11:14 PM You only get to earn about £128.00 per week then you have to declare any extras, it wont affect me as i do not work at the moment, but i suppose in time they will monitor these sites and question who works for them! They are far too publicized now for them not to notice eventually.
Looby By: LoobyDate: 09 Feb 2012 11:58 PM I agree with Serena, so true! ;¬( x
KatieN About me: I love taking part in active, lively discussions. Why I like surveys: It's great to be able to give your opinion, and be active in lots of different communities. By: KatieNDate: 10 Feb 2012 2:37 PM And in the meantime....Harry Reddnap et all get away with blue murder when it comes to paying what they legally (and morally!) should.

006.5 By: 006.5Date: 15 Feb 2012 12:27 PM Hi all, with respect to our earnings from surveys, if I have read the tax laws correctly and from many years of running a pub quiz, we can earn up to £45 per week from things such as surveys and running pub quizzes. However, if you run a pub quiz say 5 nights a week, that is classed as fulltime earnings. Once or twice a week it is classed as a hobbie and you are allowed to earn due to the photo copying or printing expense you incur. On the survey front, with exception to some, who do millions of surveys, at a guess I would think the average earnings to be in the region of £10 per week, some will definitely earn more. But because it comes from different sources or companies, it is excluded from tax, say maybe 50p a company per week, its not worth the time and money to administrate.
LizzieAnn About me: I love surveys! You can't tell from reading any of my posts, though, can you?! I am a full time worker with two children and a full time house husband, are you jealous? Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things! By: LizzieAnnDate: 15 Feb 2012 6:15 PM That is great George, thanks for going to the trouble of finding that out for us all, it relieves me greatly. I was worried on that front.
