Yup, I certainly am....but I am delighted now because I just got an email from Panelbase to tell me that they have processed my redemption and it should be in my account in three working days...Tuesday or Wednesday! Wow, fast or what?

I am down to my last tenner, Serena, honestly...but another email told me I could have £5 off my Tesco shopping next week too so that was good news! :)

Why I like surveys: Apart from my relatives considering me to be an opinionated old whatsit, they give something to do and the cash helps with the cat treats.

I don't think I'll ever get a payout from these. The last survey i put in my name and D.O.B. and was screened out. the one before that was a special and i answered in 2 minutes of receiving it and was told it was full and so contacted panelbase and they said it wasn't but i still couldn't enter it and the 3 before I got screened out within the first few minutes.

How sad that a throwaway simple comment about being broke should provoke such a sarcastic comment from a member. It is sad because I am not alone in thinking sarcasm is the lowest form of wit. It is sad that we can't have fun and enjoy this thread for what it is....a little bit of a laugh about being broke like the rest of the country at the moment of course! :(

Yes there are a lot of people in the country worse off, but people just get on with their lives and dont harp on about it. The comment was made as an observation, you take it the way you want....I know how it was written.

I am getting on with my life but I am an open, honest and gregarious person - it is my nature to want to share and have a laugh, if the comment was written as advice, I apologise for taking it the wrong way but it came across very sarcastic. :(
