By: KatieN Date: 22 Feb 2012 9:49 AM Remember the survey where I failed quality control? Well, I was so miffed at Populus for what was merely a typographical error (rather than a lapse of attention on my part) that I had a moan to Vivatic customer services - I've always had a very positive experience with their customer services, but I didn't have any real expectations about this one way or another. What I had hoped to achieve was to get Populus to acknowledge that I had made a simple human error, rather than giving false information of any sort. Guess what? It worked! Vivatic emailed me yesterday telling me that they had investigated the matter, and I was awarded my £1 for the survey - I think this is definitely worth a huge dollop of praise. Don't you? |

LizzieAnn About me: I love surveys! You can't tell from reading any of my posts, though, can you?! I am a full time worker with two children and a full time house husband, are you jealous? Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things! By: LizzieAnnDate: 22 Feb 2012 12:37 PM A great result, Katie, I agree it is ALWAYS worth complaining and results are very mixed! What is a problem to one company is a throwaway thing to another company and if you personally have established a good rapport with customer services, then you will continue to be able to capitalize on that good relationship by keeping up a dialogue which can only be mutually beneficial to both parties...you get the satisfaction of knowing they are listening to you and they get the satisfaction of knowing that you are doing your utmost to provide them with good, sound, reliable information in all the surveys you do, and you can be relied on to continue to do while the dialogue is maintained.
KatieN About me: I love taking part in active, lively discussions. Why I like surveys: It's great to be able to give your opinion, and be active in lots of different communities. By: KatieNDate: 22 Feb 2012 6:42 PM Thanks, Lizzie. I had no expectations at all about receiving any payment, but I was both annoyed and mortified that failing quality control somehow meant that I had a black mark on my copy-book. Plus, in that particular survey, I felt I'd given some quality remarks; for that reason, I simply couldn't leave the matter there - does that make sense?
John Fitch By: John FitchDate: 22 Feb 2012 7:14 PM Well done KatieN and a tick in the box for Vivatic.

By: KatieNDate: 22 Feb 2012 7:27 PM Thank you, John! I hope they will continue on that good customer services track....Far be it from me to suddenly start singing their praises, particularly as I know some people here have had various problems with them (myself included), but credit where credit is due - pun intended on this occasion ;-)
