SurveyHead Update

I am more than a little miffed about this lot today. I had over $12 in pending surveys, then last night I got one knocked off for being invalid. Fair enough, I must have made an error. However, I just checked my account and they have marked another 3 invalid. I take my surveying seriously and this has annoyed me. I have never had this before, not even on this site. Feels likes I am getting close and they are moving the goal posts. I am now down to $9.50 pending and still waiting on that last $1.50 clearing!

I used to feel that way about them, but actually, I accidentally discovered what it is, and it is a strange one, Jo. American survey companies are used to vast and high levels of fraud, Americans being what they are (and I am qualified to say this, having been born in Boston, Mass., myself!!) so they actually go through everything with a fine toothcomb. I have had similar experiences with at least two American based panels, but nonetheless, have gone on to reach redemption and get paid even though it took some time. The real reason is just that there are vast amounts more surveyors involved, more dodgy ones due to the American input, and they have to be a lot more careful they are not throwing their money away. Not that you are dodgy, not that I am dodgy, not that any of the ones having trouble on Surveyhead are either....it's just that sometimes you click on the wrong button....I did it the other day at 49 points with Newvistalive and a 1 point survey I tried to do in my lunch hour to get to the magical 50 points mark was declared invalid simply because I said I had one too many people living in my house....well the number 5 is right next to the number 4 on the keyboard and what can you do when you have hit NEXT??? I was so frustrated I could have cried...since then, zilch in the way of invitations....grrrrr!!!

I've had my last survey on SH marked as 'invalid' too...it's never happened to me before..wonder if they are knocking £ off everyone to save pennies?...

I cant cash out at £16.22,each time I click the cash out button it takes me to skype which I dont want. I cashed out £14.67 a couple of months ago to paypal but despite an e mail sent to them about this problem I'm getting nowhere. And surprisingly they have put 2 of my surveys as invalid! At this rate it will be christmas if I am lucky enough to get my money via paypal!

I think it depends on what the exchange rate is right now....you need to have 25 USD to cash out to paypal but you need a lower rate to cash out to skype credits, I think. Not really sure what these are!

Agreed LizzieAnn. It depends on the exchange rate. I need another 93p to cash out with paypal, which would bring me up to the 25USD mark. Until that point it automatically takes you to the Skype option because it is the only option.

Having said that, the exchange rate is pretty favourable right now, so fingers crossed that could change on a daily basis.

With me the last survey took nearly 3 months to complete, as each survey invite that came through I was screened out or the survey was closed. Never again will I do surveys for Surveyhead.

I also have just had two surveys denied both of which should have paid out over £3.00 , doesn't seem to be any problems with the smaller payment ones though :0S Miffed !

I have also noticed that now you can cash out for quite a small amount for Skype credits but if you want paypal you have to wait until you reach $50!!! It used to be $25 which was difficult enough, but 50 is impossible for me and I would not be able to use Skype credits whatever they are.....I may well be packing it in too. James, give it a shot, and see how you get on.....your personal experience may be different - it is often down to your individual experience of a survey site...everyone is different.

Well done for reaching it Ruth, but when I signed in the other day it says you need $50 for a redemption! How did you manage it?

Jo
