I have been on contract for about a year now and only just 5 months ago i started calling a lot. I went over 130 pounds in a month then paid 50 pounds worth of extra call time the month after. Orange dont even have capping services available! Im fed up with them and have recently found out that they cant offer me a service to call abroad without it charging the other person. Sucks!

I am a bit confused so please correct me if I am wrong, but do you feel you have had poor customer service because you made the choice to run up a high phone bill?

Yoshimura, like Jo I am a bit bewildered by what you imply. When you take out a contract with a mobile phone company, and correct me if I am wrong, it is up to the individual to place a cap limit on their monthly balance. No mobile company will tell you about going over your balance as it is your decision to do so. They are in this for profit and with youngsters around these days they certainly do make great profits. As far as charges to a 3rd party abroad are concerned, If memory serves me right, was this not made illegal recently double charging.
Now I dont know if your aware of this, but Orange and T.Mobile are the same company now and they do have a vast amount of different tariffs. My tariff is £5 pm and I get 300 minutes of calls and unlimited texts, neither of which I fully use, but Yoshimura, it sounds to me if you are addicted to your mobile, so if your making the calls you have to pay. Would you use a landline like your mobile, probably not, yet a landline can work out cheaper depending on the package.
