Baggy By: BaggyDate: 02 Aug 2011 7:46 AM No, cats do not live in trees and any cat who gets stuck up one has an IQ of minus 100. As one who has lived in Africa, and spent much time in the bush, your ancestors, George, do climb trees and are quite good at it especially when the are young.
006.5 By: 006.5Date: 02 Aug 2011 3:38 PM Is it not true though Baggy that after a kill some of my ancestors will sleep up in a tree. I have even seen wildlife programs that show certain felines take their prey up into the tree and dine there. I do know that they breed and have their lairs on the ground though. I used to be the same, always trying to get a woman to take me upstairs for supper.
Baggy By: BaggyDate: 03 Aug 2011 8:28 AM You and me both Leo, or would you prefer Simba, but it was not supper I was looking for. Yes, they do take kills up trees, because is upsets the jackals, hyenas and other scavengers, but it does not happen very often. I have seen lionesses, in particular, stretched out on a tree branch, out of the sun. Males not so often, as they find climbing hard going due to the body weight.
