By: Kay Date: 12 Aug 2011 5:17 PM So our next question is... How many panellists have a birthday in August? |
|
covlad76 By: covlad76Date: 12 Aug 2011 5:29 PM I think is about 2700 people.
Fikinz By: FikinzDate: 12 Aug 2011 6:13 PM My guess would be 2,000.
LizzieAnn About me: I love surveys! You can't tell from reading any of my posts, though, can you?! I am a full time worker with two children and a full time house husband, are you jealous? Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things! By: LizzieAnnDate: 12 Aug 2011 6:33 PM If we could be scientific about this, perhaps we could divide the number of panelists (38,000ish) by the number of months in the year, and maybe that would be the answer, except how many August babies would you say there were?? Conception would be in December....if you think about that, then, Christmas holidays and all that.....wine, women and song.....office parties, other kinds of parties and too much vino collapso.....maybe that means there are more of them, on the other hand, it could mean there are less.....what a dilemma?!
John Fitch By: John FitchDate: 12 Aug 2011 7:11 PM What! Have you already been on the Vino Lizzie?
Mary About me: I love the outdoors and adore outside in the garden. Love cooking for family and friends, and am a very socialble and friendly person. By: LizzieAnnDate: 12 Aug 2011 8:45 PM Come on, John, surely you can work out that complex equation? Or can we get our resident mathematical expert, George, to do so? What do you reckon George, can you bring your scientific mind to bear on the subject? I am keeping my guess for later....and yes, George, you do deserve to be the winner of this one!!
006.5 By: 006.5Date: 13 Aug 2011 7:37 AM My ex wife used to be a midwife and other months were busier than august. It is more the colder months that are busier for births. Dark nights, poor television and cheap booze have a bigger affect on population numbers.
spiderwebber8 About me: I am female have 2 lovely kids and a partner plus a cheeky dog Why I like surveys: There intriging, different each time gives you something to thing about, its good to express your views and voice your opinions from time to time By: spiderwebber8Date: 13 Aug 2011 10:05 AM Im guessing 799

By: LizzieAnnDate: 14 Aug 2011 3:38 PM I get it, George (although not often enough!) and I suppose in theory, you could really go through every month and account for a large amount of births for various reasons....LOL at Tracey, yes, August must be the month you hope to get the most from surveys....just so you can cover all your birthdays!
