They are very good at payment .I claimed my redemption last Monday and by Thursday it was in the bank , Have just completed a £5.00 survey for them about TV channels , The best way to make sure you get surveys from them is to sign into the site and update your personal details on a regular basis .I do love the name that the payments arrive in , Dipsticks research ..always makes me smile .

They are a good survey company and like you I like the name Dipstick research, however, I bet when they moved there they were unaware of the mental health hospital thats only about 800 meters from them in Hexham in my neck of the woods.

Can't have too many smiles when George is around....you are a tonic, man! The meaning of dipsticks, of course, is a device for checking how much oil you have left......not how many patients there are in your neck of the woods, George!! I think the real meaning is to test the quantity/quality of something...perfect for a survey company. I remember a long time ago that Angus (the founder of Dipsticks) used to post regularly on Survey Police and he was always keen to let everyone know his panel was transparent and their customer service was excellent, they helped me a lot in the early days.

Do you find ringing survey companies easier to do and quicker than emailing George, and do you do it often?

Without doubt ringing these companies,(if in britain) is more productive and the response much quicker. I probably have a need to call a company about once every 3 months, with YSPs, I have not rang them for over 12 months, such is the great treatment and respect we get, and even then when I called, it was about being a customer services champion.

How lovely, George, and it is nice to know that phoning works. Me, I answer the phone as part of my job, so tend to hardly ever use the phone at home for personal reasons, as I simply do not like the blasted thing!!

I do agree with you about YSP, such is the respect and great treatment we get that it is totally unnecessary to get in touch, and much nicer by email as then we get the chance for a really good natter...you should hear Kay and I when we get together....about a 3 page email!!! You would not get a word in edgeways if you were in a chat room with us, I bet!

I know what it would be like. Every saturday my 3 nieces, my sister, my sister in law and mother all together in the one room. Me and my father go into the conservatory and watch the football, then about 7.00pm I disappear and visit my young cousin for peace and fun.

Peace and fun sounds nice, George, the whole world could do with a bit more of that, me included. I don't blame you and your dad for going off on your own!!
