You beat me to the posting....I was just about to put up a post on how much I enjoyed it....I wonder how many of us got the right answers though, that would be an interesting statistic....I really was not sure what an Ash tree looked like!!

You are right, Kay, happy memories, and it is nice to do something different...you know what they say, a change is as good as a rest!

Lucky I have most of them in my garden , otherwise I would have just been guessing .

Had to guess myself on some.Knew them all as a child, lots of nature walk etc.

You weren't an orienteering fan, I hope, John? I remember my husband telling me that one of his classmates hated that pastime so much that he actually snuck onto the back of the minibus and clung on while it bumped over country roads back to school, just so he could get out of doing it!! Ouch!!

It bought back fond memories of the Observer badge in Guides and numerous badges on camps with the St Johns Ambulance down in North Norfolk in my younger and healthier days.

But on a more useful level it was good to do something a bit different that made sense and had meaning unlike some of the surveys I often get sent these days.
