By: MARIA BARTON Date: 20 Aug 2011 3:43 PM hi there. I was offered to participate in a trial by clix research. the sample are free - however in the terms and conditions it said that there would be a fee for submitting the (3) questionnaires during the trial. Has anyone came across this before?? |

spiderwebber8 About me: I am female have 2 lovely kids and a partner plus a cheeky dog Why I like surveys: There intriging, different each time gives you something to thing about, its good to express your views and voice your opinions from time to time By: spiderwebber8Date: 20 Aug 2011 4:03 PM No i had a sample ooh must have been over 5years back for an eyebrow pencil but i dont recall a fee how are they expecting you to pay for it if its via your credit out of your own personal money then i strongly advise yopu not too it sounds highly suspicious to me
Tracey Harman By: Tracey HarmanDate: 20 Aug 2011 4:06 PM I have Maria currently doing two product tests for clix , basically you have to sign into the website and fill in the surveys on the dates they ask you to .Just go to your page click on my trials then click on questionnaire , it will tell you when you need to fill them in , make sure you answer the questionnaires , as the more reliable you are the more products you are likely to be sent to trial.I have never in all the time I have been a member had to pay a fee for anything .I suggest you contact their support desk and ask for information .
Tracey Harman By: Tracey HarmanDate: 20 Aug 2011 4:07 PM Could also mean you get paid a fee for answering all three questionnaires ?
LizzieAnn About me: I love surveys! You can't tell from reading any of my posts, though, can you?! I am a full time worker with two children and a full time house husband, are you jealous? Why I like surveys: They are fun, interesting and lucrative, not to mention the fact that they can lead to amazing things! By: LizzieAnnDate: 20 Aug 2011 5:04 PM I would be really surprised if you had to pay a fee for trialling any products from them. I have never been asked to do this, but Tracey is quite right, once you prove your are honest and reliable in this field, your test invitations will increase....I think perhaps a note to their customer services would be a good idea just asking for an explanation - their customer services are extremely good, in my experience, but I have only ever done one survey on shoes for them for which I was paid in clix straight into my Euroclix account.
justine kramer By: justine kramerDate: 21 Aug 2011 9:52 AM i have had 3 products from them in the last 2 years but have never ever had to pay a fee its sounds very dodgy to me i think pahaps you did not read it properly and whatever product you test you get to keep
MARIA BARTON By: MARIA BARTONDate: 21 Aug 2011 1:01 PM Hi maybe I misread it. In the t and cs under information it says that 5.2 "I will only have to pay for the cost of submitting my information on the website belonging to the Service". It said something similar under the t and cs for the trial

By: LizzieAnnDate: 21 Aug 2011 3:59 PM It is usually quite sensible to pay attention to the terms and conditions and small print in these things, Maria, so you were quite right to read that.
