I like a good bargain as well, but nearest Sainsbury is 9 mile away.

I have found them some what expensive in the past but in recent months a lot of their food and other home ware products have been very good value so I am now giving them a better opinion than I used too.

We just had a Sainsbury's open in our town, the first new supermarket in years and years, but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet so am looking forward to that. How do you mean spot on briskem? Everyone has different tastes....is it strong/spicy/hot or mild? I have been looking for a basic good curry sauce since my Somerfield was taken over by the Co-operative, and I just can't find one!

Asda sell a jar of mild curry for 9p, I really like it :-D

I am definitely buying that, either Asda or Sainsbury's I don't mind which, I just want to see if it is good but how can you go wrong for that amount of money?!

Good Grief!! We have another cat curry fan. Perhaps Terence you and George(Simba) could share recipes. I must have a word with Kay about all these anti feline members, perhaps we should establish a Feline Friendly Forum, hey that rolls off the tongue. Bless my paws.
Just for the record Donkey stew is quite a common dish in parts of Africa. They say it tastes similar to goat. I will try to obtain recipe for you.

I use to shop at Sainsbury's but stopped cos tesco's was cheaper and i needed to save money ,now im even lower shopping at Asda =( so ill try Asda's curry =)

Just had a visit to my Sainsbury's and my daughter was not impressed with their 31p chocolate mousses!! Said they were very bitter.

but i mentioned gravy and curry not chocolate heheheh xx

Just had another visit and I am impressed with their 35p bar of basics choccy, though!

It's not such a bargain now!!! Just bought a jar, it was 19p!!! Can't wait to try it though. xxx
