I was only getting prize draws or charity stuff.I decided to get rid.Your situation is apalling.

Jo exactly the same has happened to me... I had just managed to redeem 1100 points 2 days prior. I then get a further 500 points the day after, then day after that my account had 0 in and I cannot do any of their surveys. Sod em.

That happened to me too. Was accused of having multiple accounts which was total rubbish.

I am 15 points away from my first voucher,but only seem to qualify for prize draw surveys.When or if i get my voucher i will be leaving them.

There's one good thing mitsy40 - when you hit the redemption I advise you to get the 'amazon' evoucher.... as soon as you press the redemption button it'll be straight in your emails.

This would have been my 4th redemption with them. I have emailed them demanding to know what exactly I have done!

What dreadful treatment!! I think that is terrible and I would be definitely sending a strongly worded email wanting to know exact instances of my non-compliance.....however, having said that, I really feel that it will get you nowhere.

Sadly, although I have never had an account closed for this reason, I have had non-compliance issues simply because I clicked on the wrong button, and was told that I should simply be more careful next time.

I think this, too, is sadly an indictment on the fact that more and more people in today's difficult economic climate are trying to make extra money online and survey taking is the way to do it....sadly, not everyone enjoys doing it, or does it with care or honesty, and it is reflecting badly on the rest of us who do care about giving honest opinions, enjoying the ride, and making a little extra money for treats....it is a pity others spoil it for us for those reasons....I wonder also how a survey company would differentiate between non-compliance and honesty....if you made a genuine mistake, presumably it would still look like you were not reading the questions carefully enough or rushing through the survey so they might delete you in all innocence....I am trying to be fair and see this from both sides....

What does YSP have to say on the issue of non-compliance and not answering surveys honestly? Do you come across this much and how do you deal with it when you do?

Looks like either:
1. a bad survey company, or
2. a lot of dishonest survey takers.

My vote goes for number 1.

My sister is a member of Opinion World so I have warned her of all your experiences. She is going to make sure she always cashes out as soon as she can. Up to now she has been impressed with them though, she made her first redemption in 8 weeks and recieved her voucher 5 days later in the post. She has also had 2 product tests, since joining in March. Not much comfort to those who have been chucked out I know.

I do not understand how Opinionworld expect people to do surveys and long ones too, for absolutely nothing ..... apart from donating to charities according to them, anyway,) There are few surveys that actually pay-out in points, these days. The only positive thing I do have to say about them is that they do pay out very quickly whether it be Paypal or e-vouchers ..... but it takes a lifetime to earn any....

You have a point, brigitte, it does take a lifetime...I am at 700 points and far away from redemption

Maybe that was my problem. Every survey I did I was able to collect points rather than give to charity and I had 3 redemptions with them, and was due another. Maybe I cost them too much... They keep sending me the same standard email and no responding to my question of what exactly I did wrong!

Opinion World have now got this new 'system' whereby if you do a certain amount of surveys (no Points) you may 'win' a few points ... this is supposed to entice you to do the surveys.... I am happy to do as many surveys and do them with care and attention - but to have to enter into a lottery as to whether or not you get a few points ...

Prize draws and lotteries to me are a wste of my time.Promis me a small amount of money or points towards a voucher then I know exactly what my reward id, not a promise of a big prize.I'm steering well clear of them.
