Never heard of it.Only used ebay but for small value single dvds it just isn't worth it. In fact I have just had a dvd clear out and going to take them to a charity shop

Never sold any of my DVDs , but if I attempted to I would probably be found in unexplainable circumstances , my hubby is an avid film fan , and to date we have just over 4,000 DVDs .Only benefit being if I lose my sky signal there's always something good to watch .

Wow,4000 dvds is an incredible collection. I have 1100 books and find difficulty regarding storage. What do you do with 4000 dvds?

my hubby has used music magpie briskem, and they were marvellous. The postage is paid for you as they send prepaid postage labels, one for larger amounts ie if there are quite a few cds and dvds to send, and another for smaller amounts. They e mail you when they have received your goods, and again when the cheque is sent. Its absolutely fabulous. A genuine company, and they do state they have to test everything you send to make sure you receive the correct money, and deductions could be made if any has a fault. Certainly was a painless process, and the only reason my hubby used it was because of a spring clean that unearthed forgotten items neither use to man nor beast!

There is currently a advert campaign on Tv for this company and the money they offer will not be that good. personally I think going on ebay to sell DVDs and CDs is the better option.

My hubby has used music magpie and they were very good too, like Mary, I completely agree. They are prompt with payment too.

Like you, Tracey, my husband has a very enormous film collection and it must be around the 4-5000 mark....he has TV series, films, etc., from all over the world, and gets them from Canada, USA, Hong Kong, Japan, etc., however customs charges are changing and this is becoming more difficult....but over the years we have watched some absolute gems on our Saturday Night at the Movies film watching evening- we have one every Saturday and our children really look forward to it.

I went out and bought purpose built racks to house all the dvds, they take just over 150 dvds in each ..its a good job I have a spare room
I found a brilliant American site for purchasing classic DVDs we ordered paid less than £5.00 for the DVD and it arrived three days later .that was faster than the DVD ordered at the same time sent from the Uk .Moviesunlimited

Thanks for that, Tracey, hubby does not have a spare room but a huge understairs cupboard housed with three flatpack bookcases all stuffed full, and racks on top of them, and a huge display cabinet displaying all his TV stuff in the livingroom....however, as we have no ornaments anyway, that's fine by me. It keeps him happy, you know!!
