Lol John , I remember when I was younger anytime the JW's called at our house my stepdad would invite them in and then bend their ears until they were the ones who wanted to get away , it was so funny for months after you'd see them outside arguing over who was gong to knock on our door .

Is there anything out their for stopping those flippin' (could have used a stronger word then) leaflets asking for old clothes - they are driving me mad.
Half past two in the morning this Monday - I went ballistic. I heard the gate go and thought someone was trying to break in.....

My stepfather was JW and I had a helluva childhood....so I have loads of ammunition to use against them, as they made my life a misery.....I have absolutely no time for them and I always go halfway down the path to meet them and physically chase them as I hate them so much..

I used to work with a really nice West Indian guy who was a JW.Weused to have long discussions regarding there mag-The Watchtower-or whatever it was called.In it, the JW movement take variuos passages of the Bible and interpret them to tie in with their ideology but when you look into it, their interpretation seems to bear no resemblence to actuality.If the JWs want to hire a hall and invite people to attend their meetings, you either go or stay away but don't come knocking trying to force me into thinking that the JW movement is for me.

Hate them as well - we had them knock on our door on Christmas morning - luckily enough the neighbour was a butcher and just happened to be chopping up the turkey bones with a rather large cleaver in his hand when he opened the door to them - never had a problem with them after that. I just check who is at the door and don't answer it.
