Has anyone received a survey from these in the last 10 days? I joined 10 days ago and have not had one yet?

Not Yougov, though, they are speeding up...due to the fact that all their surveys are political or economic based and often quoted in newspapers.

I average one a week Serena, and the good thing is with them you rarely get screened out. Stick with it, they will start coming!

Tip for you , sign into the site ..sometimes they have surveys on your homepage that haven't been mailed to you .I had a cheque for £50.00 in May and am on £40.25 now .I got the same mail as Fikinz , thing is I didn't even know they had a referral scheme ..lol

Is he a big bloke, then, and would he beat me up, do you think?! :P

Tracey Harman

He's a typical Cockney Lizzie , he was a costamonger and owned a cab office , bad health meant he had to retire early .But he can talk the hind legs off of a donkey . Hmmm maybe that's why I'm going deaf in one ear :P

What is a costamonger?! I picture a Mike Reid type.... :P and I do all the talking in our house, and hubby just talks when necessary believing actions speak louder than words, so that is why I get such amazing Christmas presents from him, because he is so thoughtful. He never gets me anything I expect and always buys me little presents if I feel down.... :) :)

I have been logging into Yougov, by the way, but no new surveys and I am at £48.50....so frustrating, you know!

Definition of Costamonger .Brit rare a person who sells fruit, vegetables, etc., from a barrow , A market stall trader .So yeah ! a Mike Reid type lol :P My hubby will strike up a conversation with anyone , the women love him and the men think he's a real mans man. One of his favourite sales pitches in the summer months was selling suntan lotions , he'd take his top off and invite the ladies to cream him up :O he's got the gift of the Gab probably more DelBoy than Mike Reid though :D:D

Have you had many redemptions with YouGov ? I reached my first in May after 7 years :O but I am on £46.00 now , it does seem that after the first redemption the surveys become more frequent .What do you think ?

You are a fund of knowledge, Tracey....and I must meet your husband...I used to know a Glasgow version of him, he was so hairy you didn't know where he stopped and if he took off his shirt the women went mad but the sun tan lotion would make a helluva mess of him.....make his hair all matted...yeuch.....I know what you mean about the gift of the gab, though!! Sounds like a bundle of laughs being married to him, though!!

I had a £50 cheque in March 2007, one in 2009 and that's it....I never noticed them speeding up.....and I am due one any day now....what have you done? Maybe it's down to demographics?!

Tracey Harman

I'm not sure to be honest .I just thought I'd leave it plodding in the background , but for some reason I seem to be getting surveys on a more regular basis. Not that you'll hear me complaining /I like the yougov surveys but am getting a bit miffed when theres a subject I really want to comment on , like the hacking scandal and no surveys get sent through ...Demographics I suppose .

Must buy a dikshunry to lern how to spel :P

I agree, they are good to have running in the background, but don't expect to get rich quick from them....can I get this last £1.50...nope, and it seems almost impossible!!
