Yep it was a drop down list oh well they wrote back to me apologizing for sending an American survey and credited my account with 100 points .I really wanted to try that video camera too . The Americans get far better product tests than we do .

I was with Schlesinger Associates when they wrote to me and told me that they had branched out and changed their name to Inspired Opinions...then of course, I won two lots of Amazon gift cards in a row, meaning now that my redemption is as low as 500 points for a £5 Amazon voucher, which is amazing. From what I can tell you can change the "language" as it shows a GB flag when you log into the site....but the site is inspiredopinions.com which suggests it is American - I think they have added a GB arm to their operations from what I can work out. Sorry, it may not be the answer you want to hear, but what an amazing product test to miss out on, how sad...

I never seem to get big electrical stuff like that although ACOP did once offer me a laser hair removal system worth about the $300 mark but I had a few health concerns about it...

Any body a member of idealopinions.com i have been trying to join up and just keep getting the error message come up? It may be my connection. I ended up joining awsurveys.com and ciao.co.uk while roaming around online. surveyspot.com wont let me join, just keep telling me ive entered the wrong zip code! even though they are clearly listed as a uk sight also! They are the same as opinion outpost, exactly the same website!

Serena have you tried dooyoo.co.uk ? they are like ciao but are a lot better.

They did say that they were going to look into it to make sure UK members don't receive US surveys , so it was a problem from their end .They also said that there were going to be bigger product tests this side of the pond in near future .....so it's fingers crossed

Surveyspot I think is American, so maybe you can't join unless you are American, Serena? Never heard of idealopinions....what about Onlineopinions though? They are slow, but I have built up to 21 points and you need 50 for a cheque for £50....www.onlineopinions.co.uk - give them a shot.

As I say, it does take a wee while to get there, but they send out surveys about once every six weeks and they are always quick and easy and you get 1 point = £1 which is great.

Another good one is www.opinionbar.com - that has a really low £10 BACS payment redemption just like Panelbase, and the surveys are fairly regular too.

I agree Lizzie opinionbar are good .Have been with them for a few years now .

Thanks for the info, i mentioned awsurveys.com, they just want you to evaluate and give short comments on different sites $1/$2 dollars a time,,( you do not have join any of them), redemption is $50 by pay pal, and im up to $18 already in a few days, check them out, seems like a straight foreword little number.

I had been with opinion bar for over a year and hardly got a survey, unsubscribed recently. Goes to show everyone isnt suited to all the same sites. Surveyhead although bad reviews, has been very good. Swings and roundabouts I think.

Don't want to put a downer on them , but did anyone check awsurveys with the surveypolice ? Just asking because I Joined months ago had loads of surveys and earned about $25.00 and a friend from Canada told me they were a scam site .

I signed up last year and was so excited because of they pay a high amount for each lead you bring in. I reached the $75 dollar cashout (which is very high cashout) in a quick amount of time because I was able to get leads, still no money!!! I knew it was too good to be true.

i completed all the surveys and had $28 in my account and now they have stopped giving me any survey and say that i've to refer friends to earn more

I was signed up with them and then they (A W Surveys) has deleted my account and when I asked about restoring my status to active, they did however the money that I had built-up untill that point in time had disappeared

AW surveys are infamous in getting you to quickly pile up rewards but then stop sending out invites before you reach the cashout. Those who manage to reach the cashout via referrals either have their account mysteriously deleted or accused of fraud. Stay away from them at all costs.

I have tried to cash out three times from this site and they have told me that my referrals are fradulent which is not true. I have done more surveys than, I have gotten referrals. They have denied payment and then let me take more surveys after to work for the amount of money they took off each time. They will not pay you until you reach $75 dollars and then they won't pay you because they say your fradulent or there has been fradulent activity on your account. The customer service is horrible. They will not answer questions and try to resolve issues. This company is just horrid. Don't waste your time!

That is true Tracy. If you go to the site and look down there is a site about that. Most said they havent been paid. Why I didnt join, but whose to say they may be ok.

Everyone is different LizzieAnn, what may work for you, may not work for someone else.Although I have had good opinions about other sites opinion bar just didnt work for me.

Oh, well i wont hold out much hope then, perhaps awsurveys are a bit too good to be true!!

I find it hard to get my head round this site. I have never done any surveys for them and yet I have won £30 this month for filling in my profiles. I have just claimed £30 worth of Amazon vouchers and received them instantly.

Don't give up, just keep them running in the background, if you do your stuff, and are honest, maybe they will come up trumps for you. I know Palmresearch did for me, and lots of people never got a bean from them!

Palmresearch has been good for me too LizzieAnne, may take a wee while, but it slowly builds up if you keep at it.

Lissa, they are trying to encourage people to join...they were once known as Schlesinger Associates and were USA only....I joined way back and never got anything much from them....now they are keen to become popular so just enjoy and spend!!

Mary, I agree, you have to keep regular with Palm - prunes help!!
