1. 'Yeah, I used to skip school a lot, too'

2.'Just leave all the lights on ... it makes the house look more cheery'

3. 'Let me smell that shirt -- Yeah, it's good for another week'

4. 'Go ahead and keep that stray dog, I'll be glad to feed and walk him every day'

5. 'Well, if Timmy's mum says it's OK, that's good enough for me.'

6. 'The curfew is just a general time to shoot for. It's not like I'm running a prison around here.'

7. 'I don't have a tissue with me ... just use your sleeve'

8. 'Don't bother wearing a jacket - the wind-chill is bound to improve'"

Yes, I am a mum.....these all sound very like things I said at one time or another to my children....however, I do remember explaining what some very rude words meant to my children.....who were very sheltered.

What about this notice then -

TEENAGERS - ARE YOU FED UP BEING HARRASSED BY YOUR STUPID PARENTS?
GO ON, MOVE OUT, GET A JOB AND EARN SOME MONEY
WHILE YOU STILL KNOW EVERYTHING!!!

I really loved that one, especially as my son will be 18 next month and it so applies to him!! ;)
