Power of Opinions - who knows?!

I joined this panel in June by email invitation.

I have just completed my third 25p survey in all this time, and this is what it says on the home page of www.powerofopinions.co.uk -

"We strongly feel that we are the strongest online panel company in the industry. Why? Simply because we treat all our panel members equally and with high priority, which most panel companies do not take into consideration."

Would you say that is a sweeping statement without much foundation in fact...or should I give them a longer chance to find out what they are really like? I will stay with them, I know, it is just that I found that boast to be slightly illiterate, somewhat startling and not, to date, based on truth!! I wonder if I can find out more about them? Watch this space.....:)

And what about this bit under their erwards section -

"Power Points are the number of points you earn when you complete a unique Power of Opinions survey. The number of Power Points will vary from survey to survey. Once you have earned 2500 (£25) Power Points or more you can request to redeem your points for cash. This can be done by sending us an email. info@powerofopinions.co.uk

As we all have different preferences, each member can choose how they would like to receive their earnings. Choosing your preferred method is simple and entirely up to you."

Ive been with them 12 months and only reached 100 points [2000 points payout, well it was last time i looked] and the layout of their website is awful! so i just leave it sitting there in the background just in case a survey pops up [which i doubt!]

I think some of these sites are run by rank amateurs just looking out to make a few easy bucks. There are literally hundreds of market research companies online these days and its difficult sometimes to sort out the wheat from the chaff.
