I have 4900 points at the moment and can I get to that last £1.00??? I hope to redeem in time for Christmas and have had only two redemptions since, I think, 2007....however, I know Tracey has done much better than that....Tracey, over to you? ;)

I have redeemed 4 times since 2008. Survyes start slowly and yes it seems to take an age to get the final couple of points. Once you have redeemed the surveys become slightly more frequent, but as with all survey companies it is your personal circumstances that dictate the invitations.
I only do about every 4th prize draw as I find they are becoming too regular and only do them incase they penalise you for not doing them.
I dont know if people are aware, but YouGov has got nothing to do with the government. It is just a survey company that collects data on everyday situations in our country.

Someone told me they are a quango (whatever that is!!) and to avoid them but I took that with a pinch of salt. :)

Tracey Harman

yep I haven't seen anyone that has won the prize draws , but that's because it takes so long to get a 25p survey through , if you're wanting the 50 squid then avoid the draws because I honestly don't see them as value for money ..and anyway you automatically get an entry every month with the oracle survey...( taking a breath )
As I said before it took an absolute age almost 4 years to reach the first 50.00 cheque , that was in May this year and I now have 47.00 in my account so like many other survey comapnies that are slow to begin with ...NVL ..after the initial payment they seem to get faster with more surveys being directed to you .A word of advice , sign up for the new yougov page ..you won't get points for the surveys but showing willing means you are more likely to be chosen when they do have surveys on the main site .

It's a group of people set up by Government to save more money than they cost. When the electon arrives most are made redundant and then when a new Government arrives with new ideas , new quangos are set up re-employing those recently made redundant.Good aint it!

The surveys on YOUGOV are OK but waiting years (literally) to get your £ 50.00 is ridiculous ..... I think everyone should email them and ask them to either increase the survey traffic/increase the amount you get ... it is never more than 25 p or 50 p or at least drop the cash-in threshold to a much lower limit like £ 10.00 or £ 20.00.....

I still dont get any surveys and as Tracey suggested i have been logging in everyday, and still nothing, so i read up on the FAQ pages and apparently they send surveys out to certain areas at different times of the year to ensure coverage, so here is to waiting!!

Interesting you should mention that Brigitte....I mentioned this to them some time ago and got some stuff about administration and it not being worth their while to pay out any earlier as there was too much paperwork involved....I am still trying to work this out. I have been with them since 2005 and checking back on my notes I see I got a cheque in 2006, 2007 and I am due one any day now when I reach £50 (I am now at £49.50) but I think they are pretty good, just very slow. We live in a very impatient NOW sort of world though, don't you....our grandparents used to say "slow and steady catchee monkey" or was that a Chinese proverb?! ;)

I think that the democratic areas they situate on are not mine at the moment (south east) obviously !! Unless some one can prove me totally and utterly wrong, that is? Like you say Lizzie about being impatient, i think sometimes it good to have a few sites just simmering in the background so that when others are slow they will all probably equal themselves out.

Hi Ruth, I've been with them for a few years now, I've had 2 £50 cheques off them so far, but it takes so long to accumulate the points, but worth it in the end! I've never won anything on their prize draws though. x
