Has any one else had trouble recieving vouchers from McCain? I exchanged 1,000 spud shillings on the 29th Sept for £10 T.G.I Fridays that i got with in two weeks, but before that on the 14th sept i exchanged 2,000 shillings for £20 T.G.I Fridays that i'm still waiting for?! I did email them & this was the reply:

Dear Michelle

Thanks for your enquiry and I’m sorry to hear you haven’t received your voucher as yet. Our voucher supplier has been experiencing major delays with their suppliers and as a consequence have not been able to send out vouchers. They are chasing their suppliers and are aware we have a number of customers who have been waiting over 28 days for their voucher.

As soon as the vouchers have been received our supplier is going to process them immediately and send them out. At this stage we are unable to guarantee a specific date but when we know more we’ll be in touch.

I apologise for the delay in receiving your vouchers and would like to assure you they will be sent out and have not been overlooked.

Best wishes
Sonia Sheridan

So has anyone else been waiting long?

I have never ordered any paper vouchers from McCains only one Amazon voucher which I got within a week. As I didn't have a mobile phone I could not mobile validate my application and they did it manually for me. They were so helpful. Their customer services are excellent and it is because an agency manages the website and voucher redemptions that the reply you get is from McCain's customer services on behalf of the agency, so it takes awhile and McCain's are also at the mercy of the agency behaviour. I think the delay is not due to McCain's but would be interested to hear any other takes on this. Other people have had trouble, Shelly, if you can find some other threads in the Customer Service Champions section on the subject, you will see what I mean....:(

Yes please, Shelly, I am always keen to order e-vouchers, because there should be a shorter lead time on them, in theory....as all you have to do is press a button to send them.

Other than the once a week spud shillings games, are there any other ways to earn points with McCain?
