22 years tomorrow!

I am celebrating my wedding anniversary tomorrow - 22 years married! I am quite certain I never imagined when I was a little girl dressing up to play weddings, that I would be married for this length of time and that one man would put up with me for that long either!! So I just wanted to share my happiness with everyone on the forum.

Also, a few years after we were married, I was expecting my son and he had the audacity to be born 10 minutes past midnight on the day after our wedding anniversary in 1993 so his birthday is on 14th November. You can imagine how much fun that is spending your wedding anniversary evening wrapping up presents!! But he is lovely, and will be 18 years old on Monday so we are all taking the day off to celebrate this and have a lovely dinner at home with birthday cake and candles and lots of nice things to eat and pressies, etc. We will have some film watching DVDs and a few games and laughs in general.

I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. I wanted to share. You know me, I love to share! :) :) :) :) :)

Happy Anniversary. I have been married 22 years this year too but in July. What a coincidence, my daughter should have been born on our anniversary in 1995 and arrived a day early

Happy anniversary to you both. If I was still married I would have been married 21 years on 3 november, but thankfully I have been happily divorced for 17 years now.

Thank you all for your wonderful congratulations! You are a marvellous bunch of warm human beings and I am feeling very happy having had a nice long lie, a long luxurious bath and about to have a lovely Sunday lunch!!

We will also have a lovely day tomorrow with my son, thank you for your best wishes! :) :) :) :)

What a coincidence pmf, too, my son arriving a day late and your daughter arriving a day early....like buses, they never get here on time!! :)

Ros, what a wonderful piccy, rings carried in a pouch!!

We had a long walk in the autumn leaves with our best man taking wonderful autumn piccies with lovely russet colours all around a tree lined avenue near our home, a marvellous day!!

George, as long as you are happy, that is all that matters!

John, 36 years!! wow what a lucky lady...or is it you who is lucky? Let's just say you are both very resilient....it is not always easy and the road is often very bumpy but if you really love each other, nothing will stand in your way and you will win out over incredible odds because of that incredible love. It's what makes the world go round! :) :) :)
