I have had a great few cash-outs from them but they can be slow - up to 3 weeks/5 weeks, depending! but I am at 435 so hopefully will reach 500 in time for Christmas too. Happy spending!

If any of you have read my postings on Just the answer, you will have read that I do not rate them I little bit. I personally knew 7 people who were registered with them and none of them had a good word to say about them. Points not being awarded, so hence taking longer to reach 500 points, in fact nearly 12 months to target. Even if you did reach your target it took forever to get your voucher and in some cases 3 months. A lot of the current postings are echoing all that has been said before, so why bother and on top of all that, surveys are few and far between and then you tend to get screened out very quick. If you are lucky you will complete about 1 in 10 surveys, so that will take a long time. Do as I have done, unsubscribed and on my departure notes told them to treat people fairly and give them their rewards for each and evrey survey completed.

I have complained in the past that I have not been treated fairly and always had good replies from customer services and been awarded points in compensation especially when screened out due to technical issues. What is one man's meat may be another (wo)man's poison, George, don't you think?

I can totally see where you are coming from George; and you are quite right about JTA taking a long time in awarding points for surveys taken.

From the outset of my membership with any survey panel, I open a little 'file' to keep track of what surveys I've done, reference numbers, points/pennies earned etc. Every week I log in to check on my balances, and (as Lizzie has advised in the past) to remind them that I'm still around. JTA are one of the slowest movers! I've been stuck on 490 points for the last two months and had not been awarded 90 points for a survey I'd taken back in September.

When I signed in yesterday it was with a view to contacting them to see what had happened to these points, and what a surprise to see they'd awarded them. I emailed them to ask why it had taken so long and what the norm is with regard to crediting points, and I received a very nice reply informing me that it can sometimes take up to 90 days to award points! Now, I know this isn't ideal and I share George's frustation with this, what feels like, major procrastination!! I've had the same trouble with Opinion World, and I unsubscribed, leaving them with a rather scathing review of their operation!

So JTA are probably one to have running in the background, as it was rather a nice surprise to add another £5 voucher to the list.

I got 1 lot of 500 which tok nearly a year to accrue.Only at 165 now after months.Will keep them in the background but not a site to go mad about.

Ive been on 255 points for months, and i log in regularly!

Serena, I am certain that logging in regularly makes absolutely no difference with Just the Answer, except maybe if you update your profiles and do the odd prize draw entry. They do not appear to recruit based on regularity, but only demographics. Logging in regularly definitely helps with some panels, but not them, I think. As their surveys pay an average of 50-150 points you do not have to do very many before you are ready to cash out.
