By: 006.5 Date: 21 Nov 2011 12:38 PM After many weeks now and numerous emails, telephone calls and letters, SCS finally contacted us to say that they were getting new cushions made for my mums new suite. Why on earth they had to be so nasty and disrespectful in between is beyond me. They said that the person sitting on the sofa was too heavy. My mum sat there and she is only 10 stone wet through. Then they had to get nasty on the phone and in their letters saying that my mum was stupid and did not know a thing about furniture and the suite was perfect. This really angered me to the point I took the cushions from the sofa to the store were mum had bought the suite and made the manager and the sales girl who sold it to sit on the cushions on an exact same suite, but with my mums cushions on. They both agreed there was a problem. Did they apologise NO. Now 2 weeks after saying the suite needed new cushions mum is still waiting and when I rang them to ask what the hold up was I was told "To stop being so impatient and be grateful they were replacing the cushions"! |

It is disappointing that things have to be taken this far with any company as they should realize the knock-on effects in terms of sales and good will they are losing when they are nasty to even one customer. | |
