these cheats {in the loose term} are at it again, i have just completed a short survey for response panel and been screened out at the END. the last questions were the screener, not survey itself, it had been done and so have i. i am sick of these@~$$%@ cheats out there. it was'nt even a fortune, just 72p and they cheated me out of it. strong e-mail in the morning me thinks, if i get no satisfaction will put this info on every forum i can find. this practice from bad survey companies needs to stop. as i said it's not a fortune but if the do this to only 100 people and for each and every survey it is a fortune for them. sorry to rant on folks but i had to get it out of my system. have a nice day all.

It happens Joe I was taking a survey last week for $3.00 on surveyhead and after finishing it was told I had been screened because they had reached their quotas while I was taking it .Not the best experience but we live and learn .:(

Joe there were complaints about Vivatic doing this lastweekend. There does seem to be a pattern with certain companies now, and it seems that they have the same parent companies (Cint is biggest culprit). It is without doubt an outrageous way of getting information. What we need is the vast majority of online survey takers, to stop doing surveys until the practice of screening out at the end of a survey is abolished and not to allow them to say "quotas full" once you press to submit the survey.
The screening out process is easy.
1, Male or Female.
2, Age group.
3, Work status
4, Family status.
and one or two at the most, other questions, like, do you do food shopping for your household, or the question can be more survey specific. Once these questions are answered they should know if you fit the criteria and allow you to complete or reject you. Not to have 4,5, or 6 screening out points and especially not at the end.

Totally agree George, screenout should be after a maximum of 5 questions. These sites are scum.It happened to me on a site last week.
Deleted them immediately.I'm only with about 30 sites now.All the rest are no hopers that I won't be wating my time with.

Good points George. I am concerned about the amount of time we survey takers waste, when we could be doing legitimate well-paying surveys, on these time-wasters. It is so irritating. A huge blanket boycott would not go wrong, I agree.

It would also be interesting to note how many times in a day it happens to you. Just for statistical purposes, I mean. I am so looking forward to our Survey Watchdog part of the site being up and running....Richard, what is happening about that, can you tell us? Or Charlotte? Will we have to wait for Kay's replacement for this, or Richard, do you know enough and have enough to go on to get this up and running? Can you give us an update please?

Too True Lizzie. We need a specific forum for this so that we can tell everyone, especially the new bods, on which sites to avoid, and which sites are the best overall.

So glad you agree with me John....what do you think, Richard? Are you working today?

I know Charlotte is at work tomorrow...do you think you could pass this on to him, please, Charlotte? :)

Hi everyone. It's a good idea to have a survey advice forum but I'm afraid our programmers are all commited to other work at the moment - in particular developing our software so that we can use different question types and survey styles so that we can work with more companies and then there'll be more surveys for everyone!

Hope that answers your question - in the meantime please feel free to use the current forums to discuss this.

I like the idea of developing YSP so we can get more surveys...great news, that, Charlotte!! It is a pity about the survey advice forum idea, though, as we had developed some questions we would be able to apply to each panel and ratings, etc. However, maybe when you replace Kay with another person, that might be an idea we can develop with our new dedicated panel manager/ess, what do you think? :)

I am fuming now!!! One of my favourite survey panels, MySurvey, has done the dirty this morning....I got past the 50% point on a survey, and was then told that I "do not qualify" - as everyone else has said, they can ascertain this much earlier than at the post-50% point. :-(
