I am now getting fed up with survey sites taking th piss. I completed a survey for valued Opinions and clicked on finish to get moneyand get taken back to the site. I wasn't taken back to the site and the participation history states survey incomplete. i completed the survey a second time with the same result. They now have my dat for free. Why the hell should I waste my time for nothing. There are just too many bad vibes around thes days for my liking.

John, I know exactly what you mean. I'm getting pretty hacked off with One Poll, where I have only needed 10p (for the last two weeks!) in order to cash out - every time I try to complete a survey, I'm screened out :-((

I've just taken a Valued Opinions survey now, John, with an invitation to The Promise Community, L'Oreal Panel - the survey should've paid me £1, and yet it says "incomplete" in my participation history! If it were "incomplete" then how could I have signed-up and been accepted as a member of the panel??

Why I like surveys: Mostly for the rewards but I like getting to review and test products and ideas before they hit the shops and I enjoy mini-polls where you get to see how others have voted.

I have a few surveys listed as 'incomplete' in my Valued opinions history which I don't understand as whenever I finish one of their surveys I am taken back to the survey satisfaction page and told my account will be credited within 28 days as if I have qualified, surely if it was incomplete or there was something wrong I would have been screened out!

Ask the question, guys!!! Get onto customer services, get a phone number for the company and give them chapter and verse and tell them you are unhappy - vent your various and multifarious spleens on all of them.....good customer services should be praised but bad ones just roundly trounced and stepped on.....vote with your feet and tell them what you think - give them a good kicking (verbally of course!!) and demand satisfaction or you will challenge them to a duel!!! You know what I mean....just instead of being unhappy....make it into a good thing and demand your dues!!! :)

I e mailed Valued Opinions and got an apologetic e mail in return but nowhere within the e mail did they make any reference to re-imbursement.VA to me are one of the better sites so hopefully a one off glitch from the third party working with VA.

I emailed them too, and they are "looking into it". As John said, VO are one of the better sites, so I've no doubt they'll come good in the end. :-)

BTW, Lizzie, what a lovely new avatar!

Thanks guys....my free time Shelly is very precious to me too as I have so little of it!!

Thanks Katie, for your compliments...my children are Peanuts daft and they picked this one out for me!! :)

VO are usually quite good about compensation...by the way did you know they are running a competition for £100 pre-paid Mastercard win per day between now and 15 December...just for entering a survey...any VO survey you enter you will get entered into the prize draw for free and might win!! John, I dare you to give it a go....you won't be able to help it because if you do a survey for them, you get entered automatically! :)

Yes, I got an email from them asking me to sign-up for entries to the draw!! I wouldn't win a one-ticket raffle though :-(

This has happened to me a few times over the years. All it took was a simple e-mail each time, they then confirmed that they had recieved my responses and I saw that for myself when the money was paid.
