Prize draw winner
The winner of our mainly sporting June omnibus survey, was Victoria from Reading. Victoria has won £100 Amazon vouchers from the prize draw.
Our July Prize draw winner was Melanie from Dartford who has also won £100 Amazon vouchers.
We've offered Amazon vouchers for a few months now so we want to get back to mixing things up. The August omnibus survey prize will be a Sony Blu Ray Player, perfect for having great movie nights when the weather starts getting bad and the nights start drawing in again. (If you don't fancy upgrading from DVD to blu ray just yet don't worry- you can always opt for the usual Amazon vouchers).
New site nearing completion
It seems like we've been working on the revamped site for ages now. Our designers Rob and Rob and web developers Richard and Dave have been so hard at work trying to make it look great and be easy to use.
We are all really proud of the new site so far and we can't wait for grand launch! We don't have a date set in stone for it to officially go live yet (we want to test it to perfection) but hopefully this autumn you'll finally get to see it in full.
The new site will have an easy to use accounts page where you can view new surveys and your finances, so what you've earned so far and how far off your payment will be clearer and more explanatory. It will also be more rewarding with an all new 'Recommend a Friend' feature.
We want to make the site more of a community for you to use so we want to put lots of emphasis on our forums page. Blogging will be easier and there will be lots of discussion forums to write about your customer satisfaction experiences and offer other panel members help and advice when it comes to dealing with tricky companies.
We love to see our panel members sharing their experience and knowledge and want the site to be really useful as well as fun and rewarding.
Answers from the French Geography questions in the July omnibus survey
The July omnibus survey focused on holidays- mainly if you'd visited France.
The survey was a little tough as we asked you to identify specific regions and holiday destinations from a map of France.
We admit it was a tough one and on average only around 14% of 2769 people correctly identified the regions.
And so the answers you've all be waiting for are:
Brittany - region 7 (26.4% of people indentified this region correctly)
Western Loire - Within region 5 (12.2% identified correctly)
Aquitaine - region 6 (9.9% identified correctly)
Normandy - region 13 (28.4% identified correctly)
Potiou Charents - region 15 (8.2% identified correctly)
Vendee - Within region 5 (5.9% identified correctly)
Dordogne - Within region 6 (3.7% identified correctly)
Loire valley - Within region 9 (10.9% identified correctly)
Midi Pyrenees - region 8 (17.2% identified correctly)
When we asked you what 3 words or phrases sprung to mind when you think of France, our top 3 answers were 'Food and Wine', 'Culture' and 'City break'. I bet a lot of you were thinking about Paris when you answered this survey?!
