Prize draw winner
The winner of our May omnibus survey prize draw was Keelie from Leeds. Keelie had a choice of an iPod Nano for her prize or £100 Amazon vouchers and she opted for the Amazon vouchers to no doubt spend on lots of nice things.
Our June Prize draw winner was Steve from Wolverhampton. Steve had the choice between £100 Marks and Spencers Vouchers or £100 Amazon vouchers. After lots of deliberating Steve chose the Amazon voucher so he can treat himself to a new phone. Good choice Steve!
Sensing a pattern with the preferred prize options for our omnibus survey, this month you can win...£100 Amazon vouchers!
We'll soon have a new omnibus survey up and running. We've had a sporting omnibus survey to fit in with the world cup, our next omnibus survey promises to be about holidays.

YourSayPays Spotted!
YourSayPays was recently spotted in 'Reveal' magazine in an article on Web Money Makers. The article gives advice on how to earn cash on the web and get discounts on your online shopping. We were mentioned along some of the other big online survey sites where you can get paid for your opinions.
Has anyone else spotted us in the press at all? Maybe you signed up because of this reference? Please let us know if you have seen any mention of us and we'll mention it in the newsletter.
New YourSayPays team member
New to the YSP team is Iain Law, joining us as a Client Manager. Iain will hopefully be making contact with new clients and recruiting for a Business Development Manager to help come up with new ways to promote the site and the panel. Iain has a wealth of experience behind him in marketing, sales and customer service so I'm sure will be a great addition to our team.

A few results from the May omnibus survey
The May omnibus survey covered employee engagement, as the recession is still ongoing we wanted to find out how this had affected the way you feel about your job. This was actually a repeat of a survey done in 2008 so we've got some excellent results to compare employee engagement before and during the recession. 2699 people took part in this omnibus survey, thanks to everyone who took part.
Overall we found that employee satisfaction and engagement has dropped from 67.9% in 2008 to 64.5% this year.
The main cause behind this drop looks to be interpersonal relationships. Relationships with colleagues had dropped from an average of 7.8 out of 10 for satisfaction to 6.9 out of 10. Relationship with line manager fared no better, with a drop from 7.3 in 2008 to 6.7.
Rather surprisingly for us, satisfaction with requirements such as Promotion opportunities and Pay and benefits have increased in 2010 but still remain low at 5.7 out of 10 and 6.6 out of 10 respectively.
We expected to see a drop in satisfaction in these areas as the recession causes many companies to tighten their belts and limit spending and promotion, but instead we can see that employees become more satisfied with pay. Perhaps as a heightened awareness of the current climate lowers expectations in the pay and benefits area but instead puts more focus on relationships at work. After all, its important if you are in a job for a while that you get on with everyone!
Many thanks Kay Wilkinson @ YourSayPays
P.S No mention of the new site this week as we are still really really hard at work trying to get this completed and making sure that it looks good and is easy to use before we roll it out. We promise it will be worth the wait!
