Launch of the New YourSayPays site
After months and months of hard work, the new site is finally here. Hopefully you’ll notice some improvements straight away!
One of the biggest changes is the Recommend a friend page, its now so much more rewarding! We are going to trial it for a bit but you can recommend up to 5 friends and should they sign up both you and they will receive 50p. We hope it will really encourage you to get your family and friends involved, while also helping you along to your £20 reward.
With the £20 reward in mind how you claim now works a little differently. Whereas on the old site it used to be an automated process dependant on what payment option you had selected in your details, now when you reach your reward a message will come up when you log in asking you to select your payment option (so we can be sure we are paying you the right way).
We’ve got a new forums area for customer service posting. There are 4 different areas depending what you might want to comment on or read about. It’s really important to us that we build a good community here so this is the area where you can interact with other panellists sharing your views, experience and advice.
A few more details are needed from you on the new site, so please be sure to check “Your settings” to make sure all the information we have about you is up to date. This should hopefully help us send you more relevant surveys in the future.

Prize draw winners
The winner of our August holiday based survey was Jason from Newcastle.
Jason had the choice of a Blu Ray Player or £100 Amazon vouchers, he opted for the Amazon Vouchers and says “This has totally stunned me. This is the first thing i have won for about 30 year and has come at a great time.”

Review of the omnibus survey prizes
For quite a while now we’ve been offering Amazon vouchers either as the prize for the omnibus survey or as an alternative if the physical prize has not been up your street.
We don’t want to become a bit stagnate so this month the omnibus survey will be covering what sort of prizes you’d prefer to receive or if indeed you like the Amazon evouchers as you can then chose whatever you like.
Plus lets face it Amazon sell nearly everything under the sun and in the combined experience of the YSP team, they have really good customer service. (However if you’ve had a not so great experience with them do tell us on the forums!)
So, next month we’ll tell you the findings in the newsletter and what we decide to do with the prizes.

Recent statistics released from the Office of National Statistics show that Scotland is behind the rest of the UK for having internet access.
Only 64% of all Scottish households have access to the internet, compared to 74% in England and 74% in Wales. Looking back at National statistics, the Scot’s have been behind the rest of the UK for home internet access in the past 3 years.
We’ve found that of our 30,000 strong UK panel, only 620 are active users from Scotland.
This makes getting a representational sample for Scottish opinions difficult.
Considering that in our surveys the Scottish Panel represents a whole Country, we don’t nearly get enough responses. We feel like we are missing out on a significant range of opinions from the Scottish nation!
And so dear Scots, we ask for your help, if you are a member of our panel be sure to mention us to your friends and family and ask them to sign up. You can use the recommend a friend part of the site to make this a whole lot easier for you.
