Recently I went to buy an outfit to wear for a special occasion and an assistant was very helpful and told me to wait till the following week to make my purchase as there was to be a promotion with 25% discount.
In another store I wanted to buy some perfume and the young assistant gave me samples with the names of each perfume written on them to take away. She recommended some perfumes that I would never have tried and have since purchased one of them. I really like it very much.
I think training staff properly is very important. If they are knowledgeable about the products and take an interest in the customer it makes shopping a much better experience and gives them more job satisfaction.
