Comet - surprisingly good at dealing with problems

I recently purchased a new washer dryer from Comet. I did not purchase the extra warranty they offered at the time of sale as I was happy with the standard warranty that came with the machine.

Within 2 weeks the machine broke down. I called Comet and the following day an engineer came to repair the machine. He said he could not fix it and i should call customer services. I called them and three days later they brought a replacement and took the broken one away. A few days after this I received a letter in the post apologising for the defective machine and included in the letter was an offer of three years extra cover warrenty for FREE.

We are extreamly happy with Commet and how they dealt with this problem. We will definately buy from them again.
