Top Marks for Renault Assistance

The brake lights packed up on our second-hand Renault Modus on Thursday night. Although under warranty, the garage understandably could not fit it in until Monday. Whilst delving through the handbook looking for a clue to fix it, we came across a Renault Assistance section. Turns out you get free AA assistance if you have a problem. We had no idea - garage didn't mention it. Called them Saturday morning, they were outside within 20 mins and had it sorted in 5. Brilliant. It didn't even matter that we weren't on their records as the keeper. The AA man showed me how to fix it in future as well. A very handy extra.

Isn't that more good service from the AA though? From what I know about Renaults it sound a good idea that you've got assistance.

Sounds wonderful service from Renault if they could not be bothered to point out that you had free AA Assistance. Renault seems to have little credit from this episode.

I agree with Paul. I too have used Renault Assistance and it's brilliant.

The rail that the front car seat slides on got jammed, so after my husband had been in the car I couldn't adjust it to my driving position. I thought that it would be considered trivial by them even though it meant I wouldn't be able to drive to work the next day. They came out within 50 mins and did a temporary fix until I could get it to the garage.

Excellent service. Couldn't complain!!
