Great Customer Service from Currys Digital

Before christmas I purchased a laptop for the first time from currys digital. Not knowing much about them my husband and I were unsure which one to get.
The young chap who served us was most helpful and explained all the different options we had, asked what we wanted from the machine then gave his recommedations We explained we wanted an Acer as our home PC was this make and has been very reliable. He confirmed they are a good make and we came away with our laptop(an Acer) feeling comfident we had the best advice.
When my husband had problems loading some software and updates once again this chap was only to happy to assist.
This is how customer service should be I am a strong believer in good service.

Its great to hear of customer satisfaction, its only a pity it was not more common within our society.
I myself have had good customer satisfaction, but i have also had some awful service, but as always we remember the bad more.

I too have had mixed service from currys, I think it depends on the product you are buying, for example we bought a laptop from currys, good price and the young lad knew the product, but try asking some questions about a dishwasher and they all were totally lost,
I try and head for the slightly older staff,trouble is these stores generally they are full of younger people, so gadget related your fine, ipods, tv's hi fi's computers etc but home laundry forget it.
