Comet - surprisingly good at dealing with problems

I recently purchased a new washer dryer from Comet. I did not purchase the extra warranty they offered at the time of sale as I was happy with the standard warranty that came with the machine.
Within 2 weeks the machine broke down. I called Comet and the following day an engineer came to repair the machine. He said he could not fix it and i should call customer services. I called them and three days later they brought a replacement and took the broken one away. A few days after this I received a letter in the post apologising for the defective machine and included in the letter was an offer of three years extra cover warrenty for FREE.
We are extreamly happy with Commet and how they dealt with this problem. We will definately buy from them again.

I agree. I bought a washing machine from them last year and the first time I used it, it malfunctioned and flooded the kitchen. A replacement was provided within a week and they also paid me compensation towards the ruined carpet.

So I went back a year later and bought a washing machine none of them seemed to know anything about which one was more reliable or more energy efficent so they started to make stuff up. Excellent we recently had to purchase a new fridge frezzer as our old one just packe din one day. Ordered online at Comet within 10 mins we had a phone call to stay it was ready waiting for us to collect. 2 nice helpful men helped load into the back of the vehicle and all was a very postive experience
