The best service I have is when I go to my local market. They always serve with a smile that is genuine and wait until you have put your change away before they begin to serve the next customer.
Large shops don't seem to value your custom. I think the small shop should get a big round of applause!

I could not agree with you more about the smaller shop/business.
I like to visit the green market in town, and find not only courteous, helpful and very friendly staff, but i also find the price and quality is better than the bigger brothers.

I totally agree with you on this topic, I buy all my fruit, veg and eggs from my local greengrocers and they are much cheaper and better quality than what you get in the big supermarkets these days and I know I am supporting the local farmers at the same time.

totally agree with you, smaller shops are definitely more polite, i think the bigger shops just forget what got them that big in the first place and just look at the figures rather then what customer service they are giving.
