SurveyBods

Has anyone else had problems with SurveyBods surveys recently? I've been screened out 3 times now in 2 days for no apparent reason, no explanation, nothing.

Last couple of weeks this has happened to me very frequently; HOWEVER, yesterday, received FOUR surveys, all of which I did and earned points.
The only thing annoying me now is the fact that I am way over the cash-in amount and they have NO Amazon Vouchers which I think is very bad on their part. I am not keen on giving out my Bank deatails to have an amount paid in. Wonder why the don't use PayPal?

Yes to me also, so few good companies around these days, too many trying to get away with not paying for information

John Fitch

I have had screen outs but have got to £15. Now got to wait 3 weeks for BACS. Like others, I say why no Paypal and why have you run out of Amazon vouchers. Are there any decent sites left ?

I cashed out on survey bods with amazon vouchers last week when they are out of stock only ever a couple of days ,And bacs is safe its a way to put in not withdraw

John Fitch
By: John FitchDate: 30 Apr 2017 1:25 PM

The first time I cashed out on Surveybods was BACS which took longer than a month, not the 3 weeks specified. That's why I changed to Amazon.Amazon was out of stock on Wednesday and still out of stock yesterday, I therefore went through the BACS hassle hoping to get paid sometime this month.

I quite like surveybods not overly quick for paying but at least they do and is not usually that hard to get £15.

I haven't had a lot of luck with SurveyBods so far - maybe it is me (wrong demographic? too old??), but I'll persevere a little longer and see how it goes.
Coming back to some of the comments re 'why not PayPal' - I assume it is because it is a cost to the survey company. Prolific academic is now passing on all the PayPal costs even for amounts over £20: 2.9% + 20 pence. They added a different payment method called circle which I had never heard off but it is supposed to be free - not sure, though, if only for amounts over £20. I don't do apps so have to stick with PayPal.

@Echidna sorry dont get your meaning about apps and having to stick to paypal ,Its normally Cint that charges you to cash out well thats the only comany in my case

John Fitch
By: John FitchDate: 02 May 2017 11:19 AM

Vivatic will charge you 40p on £20 for paypal also.

Echidna
By: EchidnaDate: 02 May 2017 5:49 PM

Sorry Poppy - I I should have explained that: For circle you have to download an app and I don't trust these things for financial transactions, yet. There may be not many companies that charge us for PayPal explicitly, but PayPal charges the survey companies so I suspect, many companies pass these costs on behind the scenes, i.e. paying us a little less for each survey.

I get screened out all the time and suspect it has something to do with my age (73). I presume this site is the Same as Surveybods as that I what I put in Google and they are the ones that screen me out the most.

I've had a really poor run with Surveybods lately (fewer invitations overall, more screenouts, and some surveys that just didn't quite seem to apply to me) - so much so that they sent me an email which said "we've noticed you've been a bit distant lately. Please click on the following link to confirm you wish to remain a panel member." Hrumph.

Got to £15 on Surveybods and requested Amazon voucher. It usually takes just a few days but this time I have been waiting over a week.I sent them an e mail and got a quick reply stating that Amazon vouchers out of stock , hopefully back next week.Once again, another site letting us down by not pre-ordering vouchers. Is it another cash flow problem ?

John Fitch
By: John FitchDate: 01 Oct 2017 4:55 PM

I am sure when they actually order and pay for them Amazon would issue the codes to the survey site immediately. Still better than Answerpoints , 6 weeks and still waiting.

Sent them an email yesterday asking when Amazon vouchers would be back in stock, so far no written reply. Telephoned them this morning and the guy that answered the phone says they will be back in stock within the next 2 days.

P.S., just received email response saying: Hey. More codes in later this week.

survey bods offer bank transfer so I usually just use that rather then amazon vouchers.

You reckon John? I was rather proud of myself this last year as I have saved all my Amazon vouchers up, and purchased a good microwave and several other goodies, now I need to start building up again, I think it will take much longer to do now, unless of course we get another election soon, and that's not as unusual these days.

Just completed a survey from them was meant to be 115 points and only rewarded me 75 points so will see what they say, hope its not another site that is going to start playing that trick and rewarding less points that they state, the clint sites are masters of it.

John Fitch
By: John FitchDate: 13 Nov 2017 7:51 PM

I got my 115 and 35 points today.

Ben smith
By: Ben smithDate: 13 Nov 2017 8:46 PM

never really checked after each time I only noticed as I got another survey a little bit later and the points did not add up so hopefully was just an error and not them tying to pull a fast one.

By: ZiggyDate: 14 Nov 2017 11:46 AM

To be fair I have got 'stuck' for brief periods a few times on my way to cashout with them (and these lulls do seem fairly common across the board). Maybe they are just more noticeable when we are close to cashout?

Ben smith
By: Ben smithDate: 14 Nov 2017 11:47 AM

probably has been the same survey, unless you check after each survey it is pretty hard to keep a check on history.

Ben smith
By: Ben smithDate: 18 Nov 2017 11:17 PM

fair play to them they acknowledged it was there error and corrected the payment, so can't complain, glad that they do not just do what most sites do and ignore it or say well no else has an issue.

John Fitch
By: John FitchDate: 19 Nov 2017 11:18 AM

Yep Ben they gave me the points due to the error, so got to cash out again.Errors are okay if the site realise they have made the error, and give you your points back. Makes a pleasant change.

Ben smith
By: Ben smithDate: 20 Nov 2017 10:35 AM

Yes most just do nothing about it or if they give you them make it look like they are doing you a favour.
