Your privacy is important to YourSayPays. This privacy statement provides information about the personal information we collect, and the ways in which we use it.

When you join the panel you give your consent for YourSayPays to invite you to take part in YourSayPays surveys. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deactivating your account on the YourSayPays settings page. We need to process the information that you provide to us in order to provide you with an account on YourSayPays, which allows you to earn money for completing surveys.

What information do we collect?

When you join YourSayPays we will ask you for some information such as your name and email address so that we can invite you to take part in surveys. We will also ask for other information such as age, gender and your location. This information helps us to analyse results to show opinions by groups of people, for example people aged 18 to 24 years old compared to people aged 65 years and older. Without this additional information about you, we would be unable to use all the feedback we collect in a meaningful way.

We may also store your details if you e-mail us directly with a query or suggestion for improvement. There is also the option to include your mobile telephone number on your YourSayPays profile. This is only used to send survey invitations via text message, and will never be used for any marketing or sales purposes. We will never share this number with any third party. You can add and remove your phone number at any time in your profile section.

Use of cookies

This website uses cookies to give you the best experience using YourSayPays. On your first visit to YourSayPays you can agree or disagree to us using cookies on your device. This complies with legislation which requires us to obtain explicit consent from you before placing cookies on your device.

A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser, which is subsequently stored by the web browser. Each time the web browser requests a page from the web server, this information is relayed, enabling the web server to identify and track the web browser. We rely on Google Analytics to study the use of YouSayPays to understand how our panellists find and interact with us. Google Analytics generates statistical information about the use of the web site via cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The generated information is used to create reports for analysis, which are stored by Google. Google may use the information to deliver their services, maintain and improve them, develop new services, measure the effectiveness of advertising, protect against fraud and abuse, and personalise content and ads you see on Google and on their partners’ sites and apps.

How do we use the information we collect?

We conduct surveys on behalf of our clients, who come to us to gain a representative measure of the public’s view on a wide range of topics. The data that we provide back to our clients is anonymised - they will not receive your name or email address.

We store your information securely and use it to create your account, to invite you take part in surveys and to communicate with you from time to time, for example through our e-mail newsletters.

We will retain your information in order to send you surveys unless you ask us to stop. You can withdraw your consent to us using your details at any time by unsubscribing from the YourSayPays Panel, using your settings page to deactivate your account, and we will delete your name and e-mail address.

Who do we share your information with?

We do not pass your name and contact details on to any third party.

What should you do if you have any questions about our use of your data?

Please notify us by email to security@yoursaypays.co.uk if you: (a) do not wish your personal data to be used in the manner described above; (b) wish to see the personal data we hold about you; (c) you have any queries with regard to how we use your data.

If you consider that YourSayPays has acted unlawfully in the processing of your personal data, we take these matters very seriously and would appreciate the chance to try and resolve the matter for you. Data Protection

YourSayPays is owned by The Leadership Factor Ltd, which is registered company with registration number 3145836. We are the Data Controller for any personal information which we collect from you through this site.

We are also registered with Information Commissioner’s Office and comply with all relevant data protection legislation.

Data protection legislation provides individuals with a number of rights in relation to their personal data. You have the right to request access to the personal information that we hold about you, to ask for personal information to be corrected if you believe it to be incorrect, to ask for your personal information to be erased and to ask us to stop processing your personal information. Email Newsletter

YourSayPays send out a newsletter to panellists about what we've been up to. It may include recent survey results, changes to the site or information about the team here at YourSayPays.

You can opt in to receive the newsletter by visiting your profile page and ticking the box or you can opt out of receiving the newsletter just as easily, it's your choice.

We know our newsletter needs to be interesting to panellists; our newsletters do not include advertisements for products and services from third parties. To keep the quality high we measure many aspects of the newsletter's interest to everyone, including open rates, click throughs etc. It is our aim to make the content relevant and we're happy to receive ideas.

Adverts and Sponsored Links

YourSayPays may contain sponsored links and adverts.

Clicking on any such adverts will send you to the advertiser's website, these external websites are nothing to do with our YourSayPays website. The YourSayPays Privacy Policy is not applicable to external websites and we ask users to be aware when they click on sponsored external links that take them to different websites.

Social Media Platforms

You may sign up to YourSayPays using Facebook or Paypal. By doing so these social media platforms may track your interest in YourSayPays, we do not share our information with any Social Media platform.

YourSayPays uses Facebook and Paypal but would never ask you to message any personal details or sensitive information using any social media. If you would like to discuss anything sensitive or include your contact details then please email us directly using our email address provided on the YourSayPays website.

YourSayPays may use sharing buttons for social media to make it easy to share what's on our website via Facebook. It is your choice whether you would like to use these or not and these social media platforms may track and save your request to share YourSayPays web pages.
